Lage in sehr guter Gegend. Tolles King Size Bett, das sehr komfortabel war. Sehr freundliches und sympathisches,junges Personal

Cons:

Im Zimmer fehlt ein Schrank. die Klimaanlage lässt sich nur schwer regeln und ist zu laut. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert. Die Auswahl ist nicht sehr groß, die Portionen aber reichlich und die Qualität recht gut. Der Kaffee ist von einer nicht gleich bleibenden Qualität und schmeckte gelegentlich außerordentlich bitter. ein Frühstücksbuffet wäre auf jeden Fall geeigneter

The Hoxton Amsterdam is hands down my go-to hotel every time I’m in the city. I travel to Amsterdam 4 to 5 times a year for work, and I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

From the moment you walk in, the team makes you feel completely at home. The staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They remember you, they care, and they always go above and beyond to make your stay seamless and comfortable. It’s that level of personal touch that keeps me coming back.

The location is perfect. Set along the canals, it’s central to everything, whether I’m heading to meetings, grabbing coffee, or just enjoying the city. It makes getting around incredibly easy and adds to the overall experience of being in Amsterdam.

The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Everything feels intentional, from the aesthetic to the functionality, which is ideal when traveling frequently for work.

Perfect Amsterdam Stay!
Pros:

Excellent location in central Amsterdam but just the right distance away from the over-touristy areas. Typical Hoxton hospitality and vibe with nice touches in the room and a great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar. Very friendly and efficient service from staff in all areas!

My stay was pleasant, but there is room for improvement.
Pros:

I recently stayed at The Hoxton in Amsterdam and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a great ambiance, with stylish, well-thought-out decoration that gives it a quirky, vintage feel. The location is excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout the stay.

Cons:

There are a few areas that could be improved. While the decor is charming, the furniture in the rooms feels quite old and of rather cheap quality, which takes away from the otherwise nice design. In addition, the cleanliness of the room could be better. Upon arrival, I had to request a change of bed linen because the sheets were stained.

I also booked a room with a canal view, which I was looking forward to. Unfortunately, the windows were quite dirty and could not be opened. As a photographer who enjoys capturing photos during my travels, this was particularly disappointing since it made it difficult to fully enjoy and photograph the view.

With some improvements to the furniture quality, room cleaning standards, and better maintenance of the windows, the overall experience could be much better.

Pros:

The location was very nice

Cons:

The room was supposedly the biggest one they had, but it was in the attic, which made the ceiling super low and we barely have a view because the windows we’re small. This was kind of disappointing…(also looking at the price range)
The breakfast isn’t a buffet, has some options though, yogurt and eggs. We had to pay for the water they served at breakfast, which was kind off weird in my opinion.

Also no one of the staff spoke Dutch, which is ok but also would have preferred to just speak Dutch.

De ligging is geweldig

Cons:

De avond waarop wij er waren en gezellig met onze kinderen die in Amsterdam wonen een uitgebreid aperitief wilden bestellen werden we uit de bar gezet omdat er een privé feest was.
Dit kan niet zonder dat klanten dit weten. Ik was erg ontstemd maar het enige wat de medewerker zei is dat we naar het feest mochten komen. :)) dit was helemaal niet mijn bedoeling, dit was dus een erg grote teleurstelling

A Great Stay at The Hoxton!
Pros:

We had the most wonderful stay at The Hoxton, Amsterdam! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The room was incredibly comfortable, beautifully designed, and the perfect place to relax after exploring the city.

A very special shout out to Geraldine at the front desk, who was exceptionally accommodating and warm throughout our stay. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made all the difference and set the tone for such a memorable visit.

The entire staff was friendly and attentive, and we truly felt right at home. We cannot recommend The Hoxton highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit to Amsterdam!

We loved our stay- really comfortable beds, good space and a terrific atmosphere. The location is perfect.
Pros:

Friendly staff make a real difference. All were accommodating and gave excellant service

Cons:

The fact that we could not change our room due to a no change policy even though we’d ultimately be paying more for two rooms.

Comfortable modern hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Excellent location for exploring central Amsterdam

Large comfortable room with helpful staff.

Cons:

The hotel has a very ‘buzzy’ feel. Music playing etc. Perhaps it would be good to have some quieter areas as well.
Lounge was always full of people working on laptops so tricky to find a spot to sit for coffee.

An allround excellent hotel for a very comfortable stay. I appreciate the late checkout time and helpful staff.

Cons:

I only wish they had a smart tv and Bluetooth-compatible speakers to make the time in our rooms even more comfortable.
