Paying to park
Old, nof well maintained facility. The aircondition is very noisy
Nice staff convenient to downtown and museum campus
No working ice machines and pop machines were all sold out on all beverages
Didn’t get call that room was ready, room wasn’t ready upon arrival at check in either
Nice staff. V friendly
Out dated, dirty, shocking gym (no towels and half the equipment did not work), no bar/food and vending machines did not work on the 5tg floor
Location
Mildew smell, windows thin and didn’t keep the air in,
The location was super close to the city and very easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
Hotel was very poorly maintained. Our bed covers were ripped and both had several holes, the bathroom had mold spots that had been caulked over and was rusty, there was an old door that went to a balcony that no longer exists, the ice machine was broken the entire time we were there, we also found cockroaches in our room. When we told the front desk about the cockroaches they said sorry and moved on with their day. Absolutely will never stay with this chain again.
I had to book last minute and was able to secure a room for two nights. It was within walkable distance to the museums and attractions I wanted to go to, and close to public transportation if I wanted to venture out further. The room was nice and clean and felt safe.Everything was comfortable and clean. Staff was nice.
The room was on the 8th floor and had an okay view but the other buildings can see into the room so if you wanted sunshine, you have to be comfortable with the cafeteria in the other building being able to see you resting in bed. You could hear everything in the hallway and the doors slamming. Having to pay 59 dollars for valet was more than I budgeted, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car in a lot.
Location
Room was ok not great
Great location for our Chicago vacation, close to a lot of museums and public transit
Ice machine didn't work
Fantastic location - everything in the loop is walkable. There a bus stop right in front of the hotel, a metra stop right over the bridge in the park, and an l stop just a couple blocks away. Staff was amazing. The bakery downstairs was fantastic (and the discount was great).
Elevators were pretty small and with so many people staying there, you sometimes had to wait a long time
Location. Location. Location.
Better curtains to black out sunlight.
