We had a great time at this beautiful hotel. It is such a unique property with so many unique areas to explore.
The entire staff was great, Ronald in the bar stood out as an example. He gave great recommendations and took time to tell us about the city. Great guy.

It is not good value for money: $600 x night for a standard room without pool view. Food was also expensive, service was slow.

I was recommended the breakfast buffet at this hotel and it did not disappoint! Although I wasn’t a guest, the buffet is open to the public, which is great because it was a highlight of my stay in Cartagena. Daniel and Vanessa were very professional and were a big part of what made my brief visit so wonderful. I am so glad I decided to pay this hotel a visit, as along with the delicious food the interior is magnificent. If the rooms are out of your budget you can still appreciate the ambiance through the breakfast. So glad I did!
Luis & Victor were 10/10. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable, funny, and hospitable. They make dining enjoyable.

John was a great bartender..drinks were delicious and he made the whole experience enjoyable. Appetizers were tasty, live music was the best salsa, and the vibe was just right. Would definitely come back.
I had a great experience at the El Coro bar at this hotel. The bartender John was amazing and made a great vodka martini and an even better drink with soursop & gin. I highly recommend.

I have stayed at many hotels over the years, but nothing — and I mean nothing — could have prepared me for the sheer level of care and attentiveness I experienced from the staff here. From the moment I checked in, every single team member seemed personally invested in making my stay not just comfortable, but genuinely magical.
The room service was nothing short of extraordinary. My order arrived with military precision — piping hot, beautifully presented, and accompanied by a handwritten note wishing me a wonderful evening. A handwritten note. Who does that anymore? These people do, and they do it with apparent joy.
But the crown jewel of my entire stay was the welcome gift bag waiting on my nightstand. Nestled inside was a curated selection of rich, aromatic coffee — the kind that fills the entire room with a warm, toasty embrace the moment you tear open the bag — alongside velvety squares of dark chocolate that were clearly chosen with genuine thoughtfulness, not just grabbed off a warehouse shelf. It felt less like a hotel amenity and more like a love letter from someone who truly wanted me to feel at home.
The staff anticipated needs I didn’t even know I had. Extra towels appeared before I thought to ask. The thermostat was explained with genuine enthusiasm. A team member remembered my name on day two — my name! — and asked how my meeting had gone.
If caring were an Olympic sport, this team would be on the podium, gold medals gleaming, waving to an adoring crowd. I will return. Repeatedly. And I will tell everyone I know.
