Cons:

Super noisy room, super small. We paid 412chf for a night there. Breakfast was really crowded- after waiting for 45min for 2achrmbled eggs- withiut any topings- they never came, so we left. I was really excited to go and enjoy a luxury night there, but the price we paid, wasn’t worth it.

Me gustó mucho la historia detrás del hotel, además de la decoración y la temática, se sentía el lujo y el comfort en cada parte, cuidan muy bien los detalles. Las camas y la limpieza son espectaculares y el desayuno una locura, jamás había visto eso (tienen un bar de croissants) la atención es lo máximo

Por el precio que se paga (y el porcentaje que cobran extra al valor de la estadía de propina) opino que deberían incluir el traslado desde el aeropuerto al hotel al menos, además *detalle de booking* nos dejó reservar "solo con pago por adelantado" y al llegar al hotel nos dimos cuenta de que no era así, de forma indirecta presionan para tener los datos de la tarjeta y eso me preocupa, la confusión

Amazing!
Pros:

We absolutely loved our experience at the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Hotel - staff, ambiance, pool, food and other amenities are all outstanding. The courtyard garden area is so beautiful and welcoming and the pool, gym and Jardín restaurant gave one the feeling of a resort - all within the vibrant heart of the city. We appreciated our butler team (especially Alejandro and Luis) who helped us book restaurants, a private tour, as well as answer my endless questions. Gracias por todo.
PS. The hotel breakfast is the best we’ve ever had!

I’ll Coro Bar is a must see!
Pros:

We went to Il Coro bar and Julian was our server. He was such a great ambassador for the Sofitel brand and the hotel itself, telling us about the history, giving us recommendations for other activities and explaining the crypt below and the history of the book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

My visit to the spa today turned out to be one of the most exceptional spa experiences I have ever had.

From the very first moment, everything exceeded my expectations. Sandy at the reception welcomed me with such warmth and professionalism. She was incredibly kind, intelligent, and eloquent, making the entire experience feel special even before the treatment began. Her attitude and attention to guests truly set the tone for the visit.

And then there was Sara, my therapist. What she did during the treatment honestly goes beyond words. Her touch, technique, and intuition were extraordinary. The oil she used — called Park Eden — was the perfect name, because during the massage I genuinely felt like I had been transported to paradise, to Eden itself. It was deeply relaxing, restorative, and unforgettable.

I have visited many spas around the world, but this experience stands out as one of the best. Thank you, Sara, for such an incredible treatment, and thank you, Sandy, for your wonderful hospitality.

I will remember this visit for a long time and would highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for something truly special.

The bar team — Jesús, Johnny, Ender, Yordi, Carlos, Oscar, and Miguel — are simply outstanding. Always welcoming, always smiling, and always ready with the perfect drink recommendation. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic or feeling adventurous, they are completely on point. They create such a fun, vibrant atmosphere and make every visit feel special. They don’t just serve drinks — they elevate the entire experience. From great recommendations to keeping you updated on what’s happening around the hotel, they truly go above and beyond.

The pool team and lifeguards deserve just as much recognition. Said , Oscar, Evelio, Luis, Jose, They are incredibly attentive — whether you need an umbrella adjusted, fresh towels, assistance with seating, or anything at all, they are immediately there to help. It’s especially heartwarming to see how attentive they are with families. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and relaxed, and that level of care truly stands out.

And a very special thank you to Alex — he is amazing. Always friendly, always kind, and always thoughtful. His attention to detail makes such a difference — especially the way he takes care of guests by cleaning sunglasses with that special cleaner after a long day in the sun. It may seem like a small gesture, but it reflects the overall spirit of excellence here.

This hotel is beautiful, but it’s the people who make it unforgettable. We celebrate birthdays here, anniversaries here, family trips here — and we will continue to come back with our loved ones, our nieces and nephews, year after year.
