Cons:

Money oriented hotel. As soon as you step in they ask for money. Customers are untrustworthy for them, they hold money for the room even though they knew our cards and we can discuss it at the checkout. We traveled enough to understand the process, this was a shock for us. Other customer (I think Americans were surprised and ask this question "so you don't trust your customers but expect them to trust you")

Pros:

Gute Lage im Zentrum, fußläufig von Centraal Station sehr gut zu erreichen, mittendrin im Geschehen, dennoch ruhige Zimmer.
Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, sehr netter Empfang.
Schönes Frühstücksbuffet!
Wir hatten 3 Zimmer gebucht, für eines davon erhielten wir ein Upgrade - dankeschön dafür!

Cons:

Insgesamt sehr düster, das muss man mögen. Vor allem am Gang vor den Zimmern außerdem ausgesprochen muffiger, unsauberer Geruch und sehr abgenützt wirkender Teppichboden - hier wär meines Erachtens Verbesserung dringend erforderlich.
Alles in allem war's aber ein netter Aufenthalt.

Great location
Pros:

States for two nights in a suite.
The rooms are well appointed. Comfortable bed, not too hard, good linen. Bathrooms are functional. Two shower heads but one is at waist height so not really useable until you continuously hold it in your hands. Air conditioning is okay, not very cold, but that seems to be a consistent downfall of majority of hotels in Europe. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The alacarte breakfast is great, excellent service.
We hired bikes from the hotel recommended shop, black bikes. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. Their bikes are old, rattle and the handbrakes don’t work properly. We hired from a second company which were so much better and also much closer to the hotel than black bikes.
The hotel is close to central station, you can catch the train to and from the airport and walk to the hotel with your suitcase, no problem

Excellent stay in the heart of Amsterdam
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Amsterdam, just a 5-minute walk from both Amsterdam Central Station and Dam Square, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city.

The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day.

What really made our stay special was the exceptional staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and always attentive to every request, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

A very special thank you to Mauro, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help truly made a difference.

We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Cons:

The only aspect that could be improved was the smell in the hallways, particularly from the elevator area to the guest rooms. It wasn't very pleasant and stood out compared to the otherwise excellent standard of the hotel.

Modern hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and excellent location.
Pros:

Excellent location, short walk from Amsterdam Central Train station.

Cons:

No door separating bathroom from room. If you turn a light on in the bathroom to shower or brush teeth while partner is sleeping you wake them up as no door to stop light/sound.

An excellent Accor affiliate in Centraal!
Pros:

This was my wife’s and my second visit to Amsterdam, and the first time with our older children. Ink’s location in Centraal, and its affiliation with Accor made it my top choice. It was a superlative stay.

I booked two twin rooms to accommodate the four of us, and our rooms were ready upon our early arrival from Schipol, for which we were very thankful! The hotel was an excellent base to spend our first two days in Amsterdam from, with many popular sights in easy walking distance. The rooms were very quiet and comfortable.

We appreciated the theme of the hotel centred around the building’s original role as a newspaper. The hotel staff were all very friendly and pleasant, and were incredibly helpful. I look forward to another stay here in the future.

Lovely hotel but no privacy in the bathroom
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a central location.

Cons:

There is a glass wall behind the bathroom
Basin facing the bedroom section so if anyone goes for a shower there is no privacy as you have to undress in the main room. It’s the only reason I wouldn’t return to the hotel. If they fix this I would return.
