Location and the design of the hotel.
Size of the room. I have had bigger hotel rooms in Tokyo or in NY. Really, really tiny.
This was a fabulous hotel with all staff being friendly, efficient and caring. The food was delicious and I tried lots of breakfast combinations during our 5 day stay.
The only regrets for me was the strange bathroom arrangement with the total area on view from the bedroom. This may be fine for a young couple but I am over 70 and I would rather not be "on show" to my partner when I was shaving and stepping out of the shower.
The air conditioning was noisy too but the room soundproofing was fabulous.
The location was perfect. Great distance from both Amsterdam Central and all the various areas that you probably want to explore in Amsterdam.
The hotel itself was well maintained. The staff were delightfully friendly and the room was great value for the price.
My only comment would be that there's no door to separate the bathroom with the bedroom. So if you are sharing with someone that isn't a significant other or family member, it can be quite intimate

Bathroom arrangement not ideal
Grea location. Close to the station, in the center, close to all nice places. Staff was very friendly, room was great, very good breakfast. I would happily stay here again.

The location is amazing, staff is really friendly and give a warm welcome. The room was clean, bed was good and the room had everything we needed.
It was really hot in the room and the airco didn’t seem to be working.
