Very happy and content with the room, would definitely book again!
Pros:

Location was perfect! Right off Dam Square and about 10 mins walk from the station. Staff were so kind and friendly and very helpful. Rooms were very clean and cozy, especially loved the rituals soaps and lotions in the bathrooms!

Cons:

The only thing we found was that we had 2 single beds and it’s almost as though the mattresses didn’t fit the beds and we found ourselves getting up in the middle of the night putting the mattress back in place so as not to fall off the bed!

Lovely hotel, location and really friendly staff
Pros:

The staff were really lovely. The room was great size and great layout/facilities. Location is amazing.

Cons:

We were upgraded so we were all on the same floor which was lovely of them. However right outside our room, outside, there were pavement building works (lots of machinery & drilling) that would kick off around 7am every morning. Not the hotels fault and only temporary so don't be put off! But keep in mind if you're planning to stay in the next week or 2.
Room got cleaned but didn't top up the loo roll which was strange. Had to ask reception for a roll.

Excellent location, very comfortable rooms, and atmospheric bar 🍸
Pros:

Amazing location! The rooms were wonderfully comfortable with little nose from the street outside. The hotel's food recommendations were top class; we ate at three dinner choices, and they were excellent! Plus, it was my was my birthday and they provided a sweet gift and birthday sign. Many thanks, Maria 😊

Pros:

Everything from the location to the facilities

Cons:

The only downside is that the window from the room was directly facing the hotel sign so there was no view to speak of, but we barely were inside the hotel

Amsterdam 2026
Pros:

The Die Port Van Cleve is a Great hotel with very friendly staff. The Hotel is an old Heineken Brewery. Right in the Heart of all the Touristy things to do. Walk to all.
A little disappointed that the room we had breakfast in and cocktails in the evening when i stayed 2 years ago was under construction and being remodeled. But overall its a unique place to stay.
