Excellent location for this hotel!! We really enjoyed our stay here, the bed was very comfy and the hotel was really nice. We enjoyed having a bar and a restaurant on site as well as this was an excellent location with so much within a close walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

They had agreement to pay to get a buffet at restaurant next door. Buffet was not worth the cost of about $30 per person.
The room was very small and difficult to get around with a double bed.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Location & Wonderful Staff
I stayed at Hotel Die Port van Cleve during WorldPride Amsterdam 2026 and had a great experience. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city and close to everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was a nice size, and the bed was very comfortable. After busy days enjoying Amsterdam and WorldPride, it was a great place to come back to and relax. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect
Worst customer service ever. Went to ask for an iron at 9am the front desk ask if it was needed right away which I said yes please, we will bring it right up he replied. Returned to the hotel 7pm and no iron in the room. Went to the receptionist again and their answer was oh yes we have no iron, we only have 10, and have no way of keeping account of where they are. So basically until someone decides to return them the is no availability. I then requested to speak to a manager and he said we have no manager. Obviously a lie, they just don't want to deal with their bad service.
The bed feels like you’re sleeping on a sleeping bag on top of a box, you turn and it sinks, it makes you feel you’ll fall out of bed.Not at all worth the amount they charge .WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE

Great location, staff very friendly, hotel bar was great. Didn't eat in the restaurant but it was packed every day and night. Enjoyed learning the history of the hotel and buildings. Suited our needs perfectly.
Room was a bit smaller than the picture seemed to show, but it was fine.
