The reception staff especially 2 gentlemen who seemed to work the morning shifts, where outstanding, helpful, friendly and very approachable. The location, very close and walkable to most attractions. Transport also convenient, trams & trains very close.

Great location, we walked everywhere. Clean room, comfortable bed. Lovely and helpful staff. Would happily stay here again.
Stepping into the bath/shower was a little awkward for me as I’m short.
We had breakfast in the adjoining restaurant, it was rather expensive and just ok - no fresh coffee or fresh cooked eggs on offer.

Beautiful location, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The bar was lovely.
The towels were very thin and not very absorbent. The room was quite small.
The centrality of this hotel is perfect for exploring the city, everything is nearby.
The staff were fantastic. Nothing was a problem; we asked to be moved to a quieter room, not facing the main street (which has a great view). The change was seamless. We would stay here again, great value, good location.

I did not like the lighting in the room. It was very dark for a hotel room.
The hotel was very well located, close to Dam Square, and everything was within walking distance, so transportation was never an issue. The area also felt quite safe. The room was clean, although a little too small, which is fairly typical for authentic European hotels. There was no desk in the room, and I experienced some issues with the Wi-Fi. Overall, however, the location was excellent. The restaurant is one of the most well-known spots for lunch and dinner, though it is not the best option for breakfast.
I was expecting a more helpful and service-oriented experience rather than a heavily marketing-focused approach. I also expected much better Wi-Fi quality. The hotel only provided public, unsecured Wi-Fi, which blocked access to many websites and was not reliable for business or personal use.
In addition, I expected a much better breakfast experience. I did not purchase the breakfast package and only tried the buffet once. From my perspective, the buffet quality was not acceptable and did not meet expectations.

Location is right in the heart of a busy area but some people might like that. I did not.

Classy Hotel - beautifully decorated, great sized bedroom with separate sitting area. Well appointed bedroom, maintained daily. All spotlessly clean. Warm & friendly reception - hotel info explained well. On Tram route so easy to get where you want to be. Just 3 stops from Centraal Station. Short walk to Dam Square. Would definitely recommend.
