Clean and bright.
Small buffet hot breakfast (4 items each day) + automatic pancake machine was very good.
$100. CAD room deposit
The breakfast was satisfactory for a buffet. The staff (Scott) were excellent the booking.com AI bot could not alter my time of stay.
Cleanliness
Like all parking lots stalls are way to close together
Location was good, price was decent compared to other hotels, had a pool and continental breakfast
Was a bit dirty, smoking area outside smelled like pee, at night there was quite a few people outside drinking someone even had a bong. Photos on booking.com appeared different than in person. Breakfast was to start at 6:30, myself and 10 other people stood waiting outside the room until after 7:00. Not that it mattered to us but booking.com said there would be a $50 damage deposit, it was $100 when we got there which could be a hassle for some people. Probably won’t be back
I walked to chops for supper because it was close. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was really nice to relax in and the location was not too far from shopping I wanted to do. Breakfast was good the first day. There was a cab there when I wanted to go to Canada Life Centre for the concert.
Breakfast was not palatable the second day as things were cold not fully cooked or overcooked mixture. Serving staff were mostly friendly but a woman was snippy when a lid crashed as I did not see their sign from where I was positioned that said lid was broken. Her annoyed tone saying that's why there's a sign and moved it into my view was unappreciated on top of being startled. For the price being paid the bed should have a real pillowtop mattress. That thin mattress topper is very inadequate and I had to sleep on top of 6 pillows lined up as the second morning I was so stiff I could barely move.the price is middle but the hotel is a low class feel as there's dust and dirt in a lot of corners of the room that is built up especially next to the beds. Do they have a wand attachment is on the vacuum? My guess is staff do the best they can with what they have. I worked at a hotel in my youth so I know what it takes to keep things clean and fresh and am giving you an honest evaluation. There was something else that was broken or not working that I cannot think of but just lends to the impression the hotel is struggling to maintain status. I would not like to stay again on that bed. Its not worth the soreness the next day. In the very least there could be a thicker pillowtop mattress topper for older customers or those with medical conditions as an option.
Location, pool
The parking was difficult to navigate and the parking spots too narrow. Also, discussions between staff members and managers should be done after the guests have been taken care of or in a different area than the front desk. Guest should remain the priority other than questions of scheduling or staffing issues.
Uncomfortable bed in room 210. Sunken in on the side. Big indent and I had to move e to the middle.
Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
The room was quiet and beds were comfy.
Everything was great. The whole experience was totally awesome. My favorite hotel by far. Always will book my reservation here.
