Cons:

Shower broken, could not change temperature so it was too cold. It also dripped which was very annoying.
Hotel just next to live music place that was very loud, stopped at 21.00 but it was very distracting since I was on a work trip.

Hôtel très bien placé pour visiter Copenhagues. Métro proche pour rejoindre l'aéroport.
Pros:

l'emplacement est très central pour visiter la ville. La literie est de bonne qualité. Ma chambre était au calme (certaines donnant côté rue le sont certainement moins). Le petit déjeuner était très convenable.

Cons:

La salle de bain, exiguë, était un peu vieillotte. Pas de possibilité de se faire un café dans la chambre (thé uniquement);

Disappointing

I was disappointed with my stay at the Ascot Hotel. I had booked a Superior Double room and was allocated Room 316, which was described as a Deluxe room. In my view, however, the room did not correspond to what one would reasonably expect from either a Deluxe category or comfortable double occupancy.
The main concern was the bathroom, which was extremely small, with a glass door and the washbasin positioned outside the bathroom, immediately by the entrance to the room. These features made the layout particularly awkward for two guests. More generally, the room felt too constrained to justify its Deluxe classification; amenities such as an Illy coffee machine cannot compensate for fundamental limitations in space and bathroom facilities.
I raised these concerns directly with the hotel, but unfortunately found the response rather dry and defensive. It largely reiterated the room classification without, in my view, properly engaging with the substantive points I had raised. I would have appreciated greater acknowledgement of the problem and an appropriate gesture of goodwill.
Overall, the principal disappointment was the significant gap between the room category advertised and the actual quality and practicality of the accommodation provided.
