Fantastic hotel in a conveniently located part of the city.
Pros:

The hotel is located within an easy walk to the bus station, restaurants. and center of town. We had a short taxi ride to the cruise terminal from the hotel. The staff were very helpful with directions, points of interest and calling a taxi.

Cons:

There wasn't anything I did not like.

Lovely stay
Pros:

I loved staying at this hotel! It had a wonderful atmosphere and was aesthetically very pleasing. The room was well equipped, the heating worked perfectly, and any issues—such as a faulty iron—were resolved in no time. The breakfast was generous and included gluten-free options. The spa area was a nice bonus, and the gym was well equipped. I felt safe throughout my entire stay!

Cons:

The only negative thing I can think of is that there were very few vegan options at breakfast – though this might be a cultural thing, as I noticed the same elsewhere during my stay in Iceland.

It was noisy because it is in the center of town and next to several bars. The management relocated us to another room in order to help us. They were very understanding and did what they could.

Beautiful hotel almost 100 years old
Pros:

This is an amazing place and customer care is great !! Loved my room . They let us do and hour later check out much needed

Pros:

Breakfast was good. Front desk was a great help and couldn't have been nicer!! Great location, easy to walk from. Centrally located.

Hervorragende Lage, sehr stilvoll, hervorragendes und freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, große Zimmer mit tollem Blick

Cons:

Das Spa ist sehr klein, eigentlich nur für 4 Personen. Trotzdem kostet es nicht nur zusätzlich 2500 ISK, sondern es wird auch nicht darauf geachtet, dass nicht mehr Personen Zutritt erhalten, wenn vier dort sind. Das ist ärgerlich.
