Location wise perfect, central and close to the bus stop to be picked up for trips. A 24 hour shop nearby, plus restaurants and bars, Hard Rock Cafe close by. Clean good standard hotel. Breakfast was good but very expensive, circa £33 each, plenty of choice and a good English breakfast. The room itself was small for two people, it felt like it was a room for a single person on business rather than a couple. There was a lack of surface space to put things on. All round a great place to explore the City, putting you in walking distance of the Ice Bar and rainbow road. Highly recommended for a short stay.

The staff strike exactly the right balance between professional and personal, and breakfast is fresh, generous, and well-presented. The location on Austurvöllur square is unbeatable, with the harbour and city centre both within easy reach.
This hotel was in the perfect location- easy & quick access to all major bus stops and a walkable distance from major sights such as Harpa, Sun voyager, rainbow road, Hallgrímskirkja,etc. The hotel was well maintained and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was delicious. Would love to stay here again in the future!

A great hotel by Austurvöllur. The staff were truly helpful, flexible, and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. We especially appreciated the spa, the beautifully designed bathroom, the vintage lamps, and the room as a whole. A wonderful stay overall.

Difficulty of getting to reception from bus stop 3. Gate was locked and there was no signage.

This hotel is perfectly located in town. We could walk to everything we wanted to visit and connect to the busses that meet your for tours. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and everyone we interacted with during our visit was genuinely friendly. The bed was comfortable and the space in our room was perfect.

Hotel Borg is centrally located close to restaurants and the Old Harbour. Quiet rooms, good buffet breakfast and helpful staff.
HB is very convenient to all the downtown sights and restaurants. We had a beautiful room overlooking the square that was on the larger size and extremely comfortable. A nice respite from the ever-changing weather! The staff were always helpful.
