Pros:

Location... overall, experience is good.

Cons:

Some of the room facility should be renovated... for example the shower head, carpets, etc. look very old and shower head was having some issues... but working...

Breakfast good; Happy hour great; Comfortable room; Bathroom is outdated but okay. Staff at breakfast is very helpful and kind. Same for the bar/restaurant.

Hilton Grand Vacations Guest Ambassadors
Pros:

While on business when I stayed at the Embassy Suites By Hilton Brea North Orange County, Creshia, a Hilton Grand Vacations Guest Ambassador was great to work with! She was able to answer questions about the property and thier HGV program. Also by speaking with her, I got extra Hilton honors points! This was a nice unexpected bonus.

I didn't realize HGV had an Ambassador program! Very helpful!

BED BUGS!
Pros:

I stayed here during a business trip. Upon arrival the room had a musty, moldy smell. The door didn’t close all the way and the tub was filthy. I was moved to a different room.

After 3 days, I noticed BED BUGS!!! I was horrified, they offered me a new room which was ridiculous because I was not going to spend one more day there. My clothes were sent out to be cleaned, I was given cash to purchase new clothes because I had nothing left to wear. I was also given extra Hilton honors points and my stay was comped. Although, this was handled properly I had to fight for these accommodations. I missed important meetings and was left in a state of panic.

The hotel is outdated. The rooms are old, dingy, and the bathrooms need thorough cleanings. This hotel needs an entire renovation.

Stay at the residence inn down the street. It is so much cleaner, and modern.

It is a nice hotel!
Pros:

The hotel is pleasant and the rooms are clean. The room service and room cleaners are very efficient.
I just gave 4 stars because in my opinion the front desk needs more training in working with the public: more smiles and greetings ... The front desk is the first impression of a hotel.
Ella ( breakfast service) is an outstanding employee. She needs a promotion. The "omelette section" employees are excellent.
The front desk gentleman working in the evening on Friday 1/23/26 is very professional. The breakfast crew on Saturday 1/24/26 needs training. They should follow Ella's example. Ella treats everyone with respect in a professional manner. The crew on Saturday ( except the ones making omelette) needs training of how to work with children and public in general in my opinion.

Overall, it was a nice stay and a pleasant surprise to be upgraded. The view was fantastic.
Pros:

I got a free upgrade with my room reservation as I just got married and was upgraded to penthouse. Room was spacious and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and we had an incredible view.

Cons:

It would’ve been nice to have some bottled water and bath soap with the bathtub. There was no soap at all near the bathtub. The only soap I saw was hand soap at the sink and shower gel in the shower attached to the wall in the shower, which wasn’t accessible to the bathtub.

Amazing!!!
Pros:

Patricia from the desk was AMAZING!!! I needed a place asap since my air bnb was cancelled literally as I was checking in. We found this spot and she made our day. We struggled finding somewhere to stay as we were down here to help my son move onto his dorm… She was fast, efficient and even helped us out with letting my son park there too… Thank you embassy hotels for hiring great employees!!

Our stay was good except for this problem!!

The location, very good breakfast!!

Cons:

In our room it was a leak from the ac vent, in front of the fridge it was a big poddle of water, aren’t if the housekeeper saw it.
