Great service, exceptional room for the price
Everything was satisfactory
I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Brea North Orange County.
After our first night, my son was making the bed when he discovered that the bedding had not been properly changed between guests. When he turned over one of the pillows, there was blood on it. The blanket also had a visible stain. The most disturbing part is that my son had already slept in the bed before we discovered this. Finding blood on hotel bedding is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the property’s housekeeping and sanitation standards!
I immediately reported the issue to the front desk. Unfortunately, Candice showed no empathy, urgency, or concern for what was clearly a serious health and safety issue. Her dismissive attitude only made an already upsetting situation worse.
I later spoke with a Hilton supervisor, Yohamne, who apologized and offered 20,000 Hilton Honors points. As of this review, those points have not been posted. However, I do not feel that the offer adequately reflects the seriousness of what occurred. I do want to recognize Lucia, the lead housekeeper, who was kind, compassionate, and genuinely helpful. Lucia and Yohamne made me feel that my concerns were being taken seriously.
I have been a loyal Hilton guest since 2009, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and this property failed to meet that standard. I have photographs attached documenting the condition of the bedding and other parts of the room. I have filed a formal complaint with Hilton.
I hope hotel management takes this incident seriously by making this right, reviewing its housekeeping procedures, and improving how guest concerns are handled. No guest should have to discover blood and stains on their bedding after sleeping in it.
EVERYTHING
I loved the room I loved the housekeeping and I loved the breakfast 😋.
The breakfast is always good.
When I arrived, I was told there were additional fees added to the cost of the room. I booked on booking.com, which claimed my total, including all fees and taxes, would be $570 for 2 nights. That's insane by itself. However, when I checked in, it jumped to $640. I had been told parking was included and it wasn't. Also, only 1 elevator was functional on my side of the building. (It has been broken since at least January, which is ridiculous given what you charge for a stay at this hotel) The room was for my mom, who is handicapped and can't walk across to the other side for an elevator. She should've been accommodated being disabled and put in a room on the other side for easier access. We will not be booking with this location again.
Perfect location for anything you decide to do.
I always stay at this property whenever I come home to Cali to visit my family. I love it!
This is another classic Embassy Suites with spacious rooms and a beautiful seven-story atrium! It’s conveniently located less than 50 steps from the Brea Mall and within a stone’s throw of the intersection of Imperial Highway and the Orange Freeway. A huge water feature on the atrium’s ground floor relaxes guests during their phenomenal complimentary breakfast. And our small balcony provided views of the Puente Hills as a backdrop behind Brea’s Birch Street.
Despite being a 36-year-old hotel, it’s been modernized and updated quite nicely. The pool is surrounded by trees and very private. The rooms are incredibly quiet. Maybe the only downside is that guests have to pay a daily rate for parking a car in the garage beneath the hotel. You’d think this would be included in the rather steep price we paid for a corner suite, or at least for us Hilton Honors loyalty members for nearly 20 years now! But all the other aspects about this facility are nice.
The staff were very courteous and polite. The room was amazing very clean and well maintained.
There was nothing I didn’t like everything was exceptional.
Booked for one night and then used out insurance to change to the next night. They were fully booked apart from penthouse so this left us having to find somewhere else. Booking.com and embassy suites we’re extremely rude and unhelpful
Staff told me @ we thought you were a no show “ I asked why they didn’t call or check and she just shrugged
Also smelt like cigarettes in my friends room
Dirty carpets dingy. Stayed here several years ago but the place has gotten run down.
