Good
I don’t like the rooms still
It was horrible the room was too small no where to put your clothes because they have all these alcohol where you have to put your clothes. Very good location. No tea and coffee maker. Wash basin taps was too close under the mirrow so you struggle to turn it on. If you have big hands you stand on chance.
The property was nice, very minimalistic and clean.
We cut ourselves several times on the carpet in our room. I’m guessing the staples were coming up? There was not much space for us to put our things. Incredibly minimalistic. Shower was also a little confusing.
I stayed here April 2025 for a solo getaway. I was granted early check in which was nice. The rooms are small especially the bathrooms. My TV nor the Wi-Fi would not work properly. On my second night there I got a random $500 charge while I was getting ready for dinner. I went to the front desk to ask what the charge was for and was told by an employee that he was new and was pushing buttons and I would be refunded. I was refunded but still that shouldn't have happen. I also purchase a daybed on the beach for the day which was nice. The bartenders were really great. I don't think I would stay here again. According to the bartender this property is closing in May.
By far the worst hotel I've been too. They honestly don't even deserve me taking time to writing , but please avoid this hotel at all cost. They took money 5000$ from my room without even noticing me.I had to threaten them calling the police so they can send me back the money.
They refused my booking because I didn't have a physical credit card for deposit, while I already paid, so they were causally saying I could go to an other hotel while I already paid.
Only manager Carlos seems to do efforts there.
Breakfast was awful.
Rooms are clean, small but well designed.
A fire alarm rang at 2 am, everybody went down to the lobby floor, for 10 minutes, nobody said anything to us, and after this time one guy with a big smile on his face said we can come back to our rooms. No gesture, no "sorry" , just treated like young kids at school.
Overall the staff at the reception is extremely unprofessional , I had to call the police to get back my 5000$ that security agent took from my room to "protect the money", well, so well protected that I noticed than 36hours after the cleaning service and NO ONE, sent me a message, the manager in charge this day (not Carlos the main manager) decided to hide himself when the police got there. I got my 5000$ back but overall awful experience for an over priced hotel.
The size of the rooms are really small versus the price.
The housekeeper service it’s regular, the room service it’s good.
The gym it’s terrible!
The pool with external party’s has no exclusive ambience for the guests, with no good attention service.
In general it’s a poor experience,
The most disappointing hotel experience I have had in years. Our room had a leaky toilet and we had to move. Only one elevator was working the entire length of our stay and the one that did work broke half the time. The wifi was broken for 2 days. The hotel itself was probably once beautiful but it’s now shabby and run down… half the stay was great, the other half didn’t know much/not helpful. The rooms are small, the lighting is bad. The construction next door was also beyond loud and ruined any breakfast and pool time. The pool cushions were dingy and dirty.
Overall - would not recommend.
The area is very pretty and the room was clean, which I appreciated. However, there was an overwhelming smell of bleach that gave me a headache—it was a bit much. I also recommend avoiding rooms near the elevators, as the noise from them went on all night and made it hard to sleep. The food was just okay; for the price, I expected more flavor and overall better quality.
SLS South Beach (Stay from March 29 to April 3)
From the beginning, my stay was extremely disappointing:
There was only one elevator working, which made it exhausting to reach my room on the 11th floor.
The room was consistently unclean, and the internet did not work.
The pool area was visibly dirty, with bottles and cups left under the chairs, showing a clear lack of maintenance.
At check-out, I was surprised by wrongfully charged breakfast fees, even though breakfast was included in my reservation.
The receptionist insisted the charges were correct and showed no willingness to verify the information.
The most stressful moment occurred when I stated that I wanted to pay using my ALL loyalty points. The receptionist initially confirmed it was possible, but later claimed the person responsible was not available. She promised that I would be contacted, even requesting my WhatsApp number.
At that point, her attitude became hostile, and she said there was nothing else she could do and that I had to leave the hotel immediately. Security staff began to watch us in an intimidating manner, creating a highly uncomfortable and humiliating situation that forced us to leave the hotel quickly.
The next day, the hotel contacted me and said they would proceed with the points payment, but then claimed the system was down and they couldn’t complete it. Despite that, the hotel proceeded to charge US$ 1,455.44 to my credit card without my consent.
Great Hotel and Great Staff. Walking distance to everything.
Location and rooms
Broken lifts for days while staying at the 12th floor was not my best experience
This is a horrible property. The elevator was broke for 2 weeks before it’s sold out week of Miami music week. The fact that they didn’t have it fixed within 2 weeks is mind blowing.
Friendly helpful staff. Nice hotel. Perfect location.
Lack of maintenance. Not a good price-product relation
