Pros: Location, rooms on the top floor with the beautiful view
Cons: I had to wait outsde of the airport for the transfer organised by the hotel. (P.S. be ready that you will be thown out from the airport building after you take your luggage)
Food in their main restaurant on the 2nd floor is like from USSR. They really need to change the chef. Also prices are really high.

It's on the edge of Gagarin Park and has lots of marble in the reception area, spacious lifts, and the bedrooms are a reasonable size. In my bedroom the air conditioning was through a floor unit that I could not get to work unobtrusively. It blasted out air noisily but was ideal for quick drying of washing.
We had a meal in the dining room and it was very ordinary with the staff seeming to be in a hurry to get rid of us. Breakfast was ok.
Reception staff spoke enough english to cover most requirements although getting directions to a nearby supermarket was a mission.
It is not a bad place to stay but doesn't hit any highs either.
Stayed here for a couple of days as a tourist (visited Yuzhno to ski).
The overall quality is average, including average cleanliness and average service, but I think worth the money.
Liked the location near the Gagarin park.
Didn't manage to use properly in-room air conditioning and needed to open windows for cold air.
There is a night-club or a music bar in the same or nearby building and it was a bit noisy from the house music playing all night on the weekend.
It takes only 20 minutes from International Airport, but locating almost in center of Gagarin Park, very quiet area.
And then very refreshed adn relaxed with lots of greens, Hotel Peoples all they are
very frienly and kind. (In general Russina Peoples are not smiling, but Hotel Peoples are showing soft smiling all the time.
I was there with my wife as Summering and she said [Wish to come again next year!]
Location is good, not close to city center, park is just round the corner.
Friendly staff.
Room is comfortable. Tea facilities and microwave, sofa in living room, desk to work, good bed.
Breakfast is good, food is tasty.
If no time, restaurants in hotel offer good choice.
Minus - on Fridays and Saturdays music from night club is too loud, till Morning.
I booked this hotel because the online advertising said there was a gym. THERE IS NO GYM! Other than that, the hotel is great and is located in a great place. The concierge was extremely helpful as well!
-high standard 3 star hotel
-comfortable room

-room rate includes breakfast
-highly recommended
I stayed in this hotel for 2 x weeks in 2008 during my first visit to Yuzhno. I had a real nice big room but I never fully experienced the charms of Yuzhno as it was my first time in Russia and I was a bit nervous to venture far alone.
I did walk in the park which is litterally at the end end of the car park and had a few very cheap beers. Be careful though as I noticed a few guys taking a big interest in me and being alone I slowly drank my drink and made my way back to the hotel.
The staff are really good and the Breakfast was very nice. One very nice russian girl could only speak a little English...but wow her looks made up for it...lol
I cannot tell you how much I miss Yuzhno...but I only wish I had have had more guts when i first arrived...Yuzhno is a great place if your sensible. Just be careful as its a city and not everyone is friendly....I know some big guys who thought they would be OK but made a mistake of flagging a taxi down drunk. and ended up being mugged and a very swollen face.
Quite a few nice bars Cafe N01 , Mishka Bar ...Corner Bar...777..Dukes Disco....Plaza Hotel Bar
Having said that and i still are trying to find a job back on the island I love Russia and wish I could return. If your going enjoy it....be careful but the majority of the people are really friendly

I am not sure how this hotel is rated since it was booked through work. The staff are for the most part very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the simple but tasty breakfasts and the sushi restaurant was very good. There is a pub in the basement but I also didnt use this but it looked very nice. I most enjoyed the ver close proximity to the Gagarin park with the nice forest and winter sports; my room overlooked part of the park.
Surely, not the best hotel in the town. Ordinary 3* room, basic minibar, extremely basic toiletries. Average breakfast. I had a room with city view. Extremely dull. To use internet you need to ask front desk for a card and pay RUB500 for 3 hours. A very complex system of TV control with 2 remocons. I've done it. My wife didn't.
Good service, eager to please. accommodation clean comfortable and quite modern. Food acceptable for the region. good base for business.
