The price we paid was amazing but the hotel exceeded out expectations for the price.
Amazing that our toddler ate for free. This was a hugely welcomed surprise. Staff were fab and nothing was too much trouble.
Gym could be better equipped and bigger
Location
No fridge in the room, only 2 towels had to use last nights wet towels in the morning. Only 4 tissues in the box.
Room smell weird a little.
Breakfast options was not good value for money.
Goeie accommodatie vlak bij het vliegveld. Was voor ons een short stay, rustig en ontspannen.

Efficient staff,clean modern room,
Friendly and comfortable
Nothing
Neat, clean, good food
Easy access to M3 and The Avenue, straight into the centre of Southampton
Uncomfortable pillows. The adjoining doors between rooms meant noise was inevitable, especially having a young family next door with Dad actively encouraging the kids to run around. Beyond inconsiderate. Hot water was at a premium, with lukewarm showers despite the hot tap being on full. Whilst parking availability was good, being made to pay for parking on a site completely surrounded by motorways and no foot access seems ludicrous. Limited menu options.
£7.50 for the car park - a rip off !
I booked this incredibly last minute due to an error on my part with another hotel in the area! (I had booked the wrong date, and they didn’t have any rooms for us- back to the car and a quick search on booking lead us to doubletree)
I was expecting a wait on our room as it was only 20 mins from booking to arriving, but we arrived and were checked in quickly.
We travelled with a toddler and requested a cot for him which was brought up promptly and made while we were unpacking our things.
We requested another duvet which again was brought up really quickly.
It was bedtime for our son, and the team member bringing up the duvet was really respectful and quiet knowing our son was sleeping.
Breakfast was fab!!! Amazing selection!! Including lots of dairy free and gluten free options.
We ate in the restaurant which was a little pricey, but the food was excellent. Absolutely zero complaints when you get what you pay for.
Staff were exceptional and so helpful!
My only small niggle would be the cleanliness of the bathroom, it seemed a little neglected in terms of cleanliness, but nothing too horrific!
The room was slightly cold when we arrived but we were able to warm it up pretty quickly.
Friendly staff, good food and great location
Leaving
The hotel was clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly
The food was totally awful. Really shocking bad. I felt I had to eat there because there was nothing else nearby. I only ate in the evenings so I can't comment on the breakfasts
Staff were pleasant, especially the young guy on the front desk who asked us about why we travelled up, where from and also helped us with some rubbish from our daughter's birthday toy. A pleasant person all-round. Decor was nice in the hotel too and was clean.
Wasn't informed that parking came at a cost beforehand. Wasn't informed that £50 is taking as 'pending' on your account prior to checking out. Informed it would be reversed if not used immediately upon checking out but this still hasn't happened and is well over 24 hours later. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, especially when you compare it to even a Travelodge or Premier Inn - expected better.
