Dirty and in need of a good clean

Location was good, short uber drive into the city, Paultons park and close to airport

Cons:

Our room was filthy. Cobwebs, spider exoskeleton in the corners of the rooms. An area around the sofa bed was absolutely disgusting. It was under the sofa bed but when pulled out this area could be easily seen - tissues, thick dust, crumbs etc all visible. We brought this to the attention of the staff at the desk and asked for it to be cleaned the next day when the room was being cleaned. The staff member was quite nonchalant about it but said he would make a note. Safe to say It was not cleaned. Thankfully we were checking out the next day.

During our stay some of the staff were quite abrupt and unhelpful with simple questions.

Excellent airport stay with awesome facilities
Pros:

Everything! Big room and bathroom, nice bar and restaurant. And a short taxi ride to the airport. Best part was the incredible breakfast buffet.
We arrived way too early to check in to our room, but they kindly took our luggage and helped us with our plans for the day. Super kind!

Large room with friendly staff, but cleanliness and maintenance lacking
Pros:

First impressions of the room offered by this property were good, but the more time you spend in the room the more you notice that maintenance and cleanliness have been neglected. There was a mould on the shower head and around the basin, with an unknown sticky substance left on the desk in the bedroom. Also, there was a large insect on the bedroom wall. Service provided by staff was friendly and streamlined, but there are obvious gaps in housekeeping and maintenance.

Very relaxing one night stay. Would definitely book again if returning to area.
Pros:

Air conditioned room at perfect temperature. Beds super comfy, bathroom spacious and well stocked. Very last minute booking for me and husband and our 17 year old daughter as place we originally booked was so appalling we left after 10 minutes.

Cons:

Seemed strange to pay for parking when it was an out of town location.

The hotel was good but the restaurant service disappointing.
Pros:

The room was a decent size and the bathroom was good. It was clean.

Cons:

The window was small and the room felt a bit dingy. The evening meal in the restaurant was expensive and disappointing. I ordered a vegan katsu curry, and was served one thin slice of breaded aubergine with rice. This left me hungry and seemed exceptionally mean for the price of £20. The chicken version was a decent portion. Yet again vegetarian options are an afterthought. I would have expected more breaded vegetables. Service was very slow- it took over half an hour between ordering and delivery of our food.
