Pros:

Lovely staff and great facilities. We chose Beachcomber due to the location and price for us. Absolutely loved it across from Royal Hawaiian, right amidst great shops, the beach just a quick walk across Kalākaua Avenue. Great restaurants and coffee nearby. My daughter and I got up at sunrise for early morning walks and loved Kai coffee, right on the beach at Waikiki. A great experience all round. Exceeded my expectations with a great refurb. We will be back!

Cons:

The first part of our trip here was only 2 nights. No daily service due to the short stay. No big deals for us and understandable. We asked for extra towels and they were delivered to our room.

Always a pleasure to stay, 3rd visit and we would again return to same hotel for our next visit
Pros:

The room we had was exceptional. Magnificent views of the city together with spectacular ocean views. Room was very clean and comfortable, bright and colourful. Staff went over and beyond, as it was mum's 92nd birthday treat and they wanted to make it very special.

Cons:

Only thing, just needs a little soundproofing on street side of hotel, as can be very noisy at night

Excellent Bellmen Service and Staff
Pros:

My experience was first class starting with our arrival. Jonathan, the Bellmen at the Waikiki Beachcomber, was exceptional and friendly. Not only did he deliver our luggage to our room but he was also available upon our departure to collect our bags before checkout. This made our checkout seamless with no hassle. He was also very helpful with directions and recommendations. Jonathan added a touch of class to our stay at the Outrigger Beachcomber. The hotel proximity to everything and the pleasant staff was well worth the price. I would highly recommend staying there.

A warm and friendly place for sun, and relaxation, swimming, touring and a nice drive thru the Island. .
Pros:

My return visit to the Waikīkī Beachcomber by Outrigger was unplanned—I just needed a friendly escape, a place to relax, write, reflect, and hike Diamond Head.

The Outrigger answered perfectly. Even at the last minute, they found me a room and made everything feel easy and welcoming.

Of all the hotels in Waikīkī, the Beachcomber strikes the right balance—great location, fair price, and genuinely warm hospitality that makes you feel at home, not just checked in.

Pros:

Our family stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber for my birthday week in March, and it was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was welcoming. The views from our room were absolutely stunning. Even with a big storm rolling through, we still had plenty of sunny days—and honestly, we had just as much fun playing in the rain and wind as we did soaking up the sunshine. It all added to the adventure and made the trip even more memorable. Truly felt like kids playing in the rain again, and it brought back memories of my childhood growing up in Hawaii.
What truly made the stay special, though, was the incredible service. Anita and Evelyn went above and beyond to make our time memorable, always greeting us with warm smiles and thoughtful touches that made it feel personal. It’s those little moments that really stick with you. The valet team was also great with our minivan. Mahalo to the whole team for making my birthday week so fun, easy, and unforgettable—we’re already dreaming and planning about our next visit!

30th Anniversary
Pros:

Between the location, clean room, friendly staff and 2 amazing eateries, this hotel is a definite recommend!
Maui Brewing- good eats and drinks. Hawaiian Aroma Cafe was a must in the mornings before conquering Waikiki and surrounding areas. The selection of food & coffee items were great as well. And I personally enjoyed the side salad with the paninis and croissant sandwiches. And a bonus the staff was very pleasant and efficient every morning and even later in the day when stopped in for a snack or Happy Hour.
Our housekeeper was ON IT! She was very polite, pleasant, helpful and smiling each time we saw her. Zhi Yi asked our names day one and left us a personal note with our names in it on the last day. Very sweet! Overall an Amazing stay! Mahalo Hawai’i - A hui hou 🤙🏼

The best hotel in Waikiki!

Our stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for our entire experience.

A special thank you to Cecilia Hamao, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Her kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help with anything we needed made us feel so valued and cared for. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and passionate about what they do, and it truly made a difference.

The entire staff was exceptional….friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, which made the experience even more special.

The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located, making it easy to enjoy everything Waikiki has to offer. From the comfort of the rooms to the overall atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations.

Overall, our stay was incredible. The service, the people, and the experience all came together to create unforgettable memories. We are so grateful and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel in Waikiki

Great location , walking distance to all. Room is excellent. Lively surroundings. Great price for the room with ocean view.

We met Evelyn and Anita while staying at the hotel. They are so welcoming with a great smile and accommodating with our needs. Great staffs. Vallet personnel are all smiles , front desk also. Everyone are so friendly.

Perfect Waikiki Location!
Pros:

Beautiful rooms, unbeatable location. You'll save by staying a block back from the beach, and yet you'll fell as though you are directly on it by being so close, especially if you get a water-view room. The rooms are stylishly furnished and decorated for a real immersive island-vibe experience. Directly across the street from Duke's, adjacent to the International Market, nextdoor to an ABC Store, and a block from the W bus which takes you to and from the airport for $3 in only 30 minutes. The second-floor lobby can be a bit like Grand Central Terminal but the serene and more upscale public areas of the Moana Surfrider and Royal Hawaiian are across the street.

Ben and Ryan’s assistance finding an my AirPods and such a beautiful and enjoyable stay in Honolulu
Pros:

My view was amazing looking over Waikiki beach showing off Honolulu’s true beauty! The room was clean and comfy, very minimal noise and very peaceful as well! The service was fantastic especially from Ryan and Ben’s very needed help finding a missing AirPod, a daunting task which they solved handily!! Thank you to them and thanks to a wonderful stay at outrigger hotel!!

Was very enjoyable close to everything. Short walk to the Beach.
Pros:

Location was Great everything was so close and not far to walk to the shops. The bed was Fantastic. The size of the room was pleasurable.

Cons:

The lighting was dim and that is not good if you are someone older so being able to turn on a brighter light in the room could be very helpful. The noise from the Building next doors Air-condition Units was so LOUD that you could not open the door to the outside verandah and let in the fresh air, or able to sit out there.
