Not what I expected
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The common areas were very nice and well cared for. The Koi fish pond was relaxing and beautiful. I loved that you could ride a bike and paddle board for free. Those were nice little touches. They also had board games and books to read in a little “library” area.

Cons:

The rooms left a lot to be desired. They were bare and bleak, small and at one point I was put in a room in what I felt was like a dungeon. I asked for another room that was a bit nicer but still not that nice. This is an old motel that they are trying to make into a resort. They charged a resort fee for a boutique motel. There is no room service. The Coconut Grill that is next door was good but it was not part of the motel. You could not order drinks while you lounged at the pool. For the price, resort fee and from pictures, I expected more. I made the most out of my stay but I would not recommend this motel to anyone for the price that is being charged. There was also construction going on all day.

Pros:

The location is wonderful, just in front of the bay where you can see turtles eating breakfast each morning. We borrowed bicycles and paddles from the front desk for free.
The staff are super nice and helpful.
Bedding and facilities are comfortable, even though the whole property is a little old.
Will visit SCP again.

スタッフの雰囲気が良い。フロントにコーヒー、熱湯、水、電子レンジがあり。フロント前の開放的なエリアで、買ってきたご飯を食べる事ができます。コインランドリー（洗濯機、$3.5 乾燥機、$3.5）有。目の前の海はカメがいますし、隣にはレストラン、徒歩数分の場所にピザやコーヒーのフードトラック（数件）もあります。SUP、自転車は無料で借りる事ができるので、ファーマーズマーケットまで１０分で行く事ができました。

Cons:

良く掃除されているが、場所がらなのか、小さい虫が多い。廊下やランドリーコーナーにゴキブリがでる。部屋の中に小さな虫もいる。おそらく、換気口や、窓に取り付けらている空調設備付近から入ると思われる。空調もクーラーはあるが、暖房は無いと思われる。温度設定したが、温風は出なかったし、パワーが弱い。私が宿泊した日は気温が低かったので、夜は寒かった。洗面台が使いずらいです。エレベーターがないので、人によっては１階を希望した方が良い。虫と音に敏感な人は無理なホテル。立地条件を見ればわかりますが、飛行機の音は大きいです。シンクがフラットで水が流れにくく、棚の位置が悪い。日本人には馴染みのない自転車。逆回転がブレーキです。通常、停止した時に逆回転させてペダル位置を合わせるのですが、静止した状態で逆回転できません。走行中に逆回転させようとするとブレーキです。

Happy in Hilo
Pros:

Aloha, we spend two nights here. We used our credit card points and it seems we were in an older section where daily renovations were taking place. The room was nice and modest with a vintage vibe like the area. We used the pool and paddle boards during our stay. We appreciated the free parking. Mahalo

Pros:

Cumpre com o que promete. Hotel básico, sem café da manhã mas com um microondas na recepção para aquecer alguma refeição além do café, chás e água sempre a disposição. Boa localização, muitas vagas na rua em frente, bom atendimento de todos os funcionários. Vê-se que é um hotel antigo mas está passando por uma grande reforma, nosso quarto estava novo e limpo.

Cons:

Apesar de ter persianas, para meu gosto, achei o quarto claro demais pela manhã. Para quem precisa acordar cedo, ok, mas quem pode dormir um pouco mais por estar em férias, isso atrapalha.

Pros:

Hervorragende Kommunikation. Alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Entspannte Yogastunde am Pool, Wasser, Tee, Kaffee inbegriffen. Wenig Fluglärm trotz unmittelbarer Nähe zum Flughafen. In der Bucht vorm Hotel sind Schildkröten, man kann SUP kostenlos ausleihen. Trockner sehr einfach mit QR Code zahlbar und echt hilfreich bei der Luftfeuchtigkeit vor Ort.

Cons:

Leider müffeln die Waschmaschinen unangenehm.

Pros:

Right next to shoreline, nice location.

Cons:

Very laud at night, full of noise from motorcycles racing and frogs croaking. We originally live in the first floor, it’s super muggy and we found 3 green lizards living behind the mirror which scared us. We got upgraded after complaining about it but didn’t know if they check that place. The ladies in the front desk are kind of rude and reluctant while talking to us.
