Overall, a good experience.
Pros:

The location was fine. The breakfast offered was good, except for the scrambled eggs and potatoes. The dining area was well equipped and clean.

Cons:

I did not like that we did not get a room on the first floor as was requested upon booking due to walking mobility.

Enjoyed it and will stay again!
Pros:

The dual king 2 bedroom suite was an ideal floor plan. Housekeeping did a great job of respecting our privacy yet keeping the place clean. The lady running the breakfast off the lobby is thee most friendly person! (Sorry I forgot her name)?

Cons:

The lighting in the kitchen was a little bit on the dark side.

It’s a good place if you need to put your head down for the night, but not necessarily to hang out for a few days.
Pros:

Property itself is located near the beach area, which was very convenient. Color of the building seem to be a little too dark to me, but that’s personal preference.

Cons:

A lot of things in the room did not work properly, how to come to the front desk a couple of times to ask about shower and other small things. Curtains weren’t closing all the way, curtain trucks need some updating.

Wonderful place to stay in Carlsbad!
Pros:

A most excellent property and place to stay in Southern California. Truly an all around amazing and wonderful experience from their fantastic customer care and service to the well laid out and beautifully appointed suites with full kitchen to the heated pool and hot tub area with comfortable day beds and plentiful loungers. The staff is genuinely warm and welcoming and the housekeeping is above and beyond most hotels at any star level. The hotel provides a wonderful breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, link sausage, self made waffles, pastries, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, and very good coffee. It is in a great location a short walk from South Carlsbad State Beach, Ralphs Grocery Store, and many excellent restaurants of all levels, and a shopping center. Easy freeway access to all points from Orange County to San Diego. An exceptional staff really sets this property apart, from Lucinda at breakfast to Itzel, Amaris, Noel, Sergio, Sean at front desk, to Mariana and Veronica in housekeeping, to Joey and Gilbert in maintenance. Well done and thank you!

Lovely
Pros:

lovely trip and wonderful stay. the four of us were in a room and it was a bit creaked but overall worked alright. breakfast was good and light, an assortment of items and juices and coffees as well. incredible service especially from Dorothy who was incredibly sweet and friendly. great view of the ocean and sunset with local music adding to the beautiful atmosphere on certain days. the pool is only open till 10 which was a shame and we had no time to use it since we were traveling the area throughout the day. Overall a lovely stay and will definitely be coming back.

Great stay. Very clean, breakfast had lots of options. Easy friendly check in; PET FRIENDLY. Location was perfect. I felt safe in the area. Price was unmatched. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place anytime. shout out front desk Sergio!!

Nice place.
Pros:

My friend and l spent two nights here while he conducted business in Carlsbad. Nice staff, fairly nice breakfast included. Big pool and a jacuzzi too. Room was nice but a little tight for two separate beds in the sleeping area. Otherwise a nice place.

The Jacuzzi wasn’t working, I was not told until after I arrived and gave her my card to pay for the room. I had to pay full price for a hotel with a pet friendly room only when I do not have any pets. Had to walk across the street to use a jacuzzi which I could not get in either because their keys do not work, front desk could not figure out how to open it either. Sheets had hair on them and were uncomfortable, overall a bad stay and would love some kind of discount or compensation as a rewards member. (Also unsure what the rewards member program is good for since I did not get any discounts, points applied, or any resolution to better accommodate my stay after all the issues at the hotel)
