This was a mini family vacation, kids really enjoyed everything.if asked for a crib it was in our room in minutes which was awesome
The staff is very hospitable and have a lot of perks and amenities and have a good service and only one call if you have request
Very convenient locationEspecially if you just wanna be in the mall. The elevators are terrible, long wait times. I feel like the staff there should have their own elevator coz they have big cleaning stuff usually and sometimes when the elevator is full they would have to wait. The room we have was new so its nice.
The room was spacious and very clean. It was well stocked with coffee and water and lots of pillows. It was a nice treat to have apples, water and cake pops when we arrived. The location was perfect so teens could have some freedom going from the activities to the room.
The elevators weren't all working so there was usually a good 5 minute wait for one. I would have loved to have a microwave as we often came from the mall with our food from the restaurants and it was cold.
The room met most of the standards for what you expect in a hotel room such as cleanliness and staff friendliness but overpriced for what was provided compared to similar rooms I’ve stayed in other major Canadian cities and in Edmonton.
Had a great time with my grandchildren and my wife room service was pretty good the 50% discount on water park tickets was a bonus
The hotel doesn't stand behind price quoted price. hidden cost 80.00 for what Alberta tax like a PST.?
We stayed at the Fantasyland Hotel with our three girls in the space room. Our girls LOVED the room, with interactive double bunkbeds and lights that changed colour throughout the room--they literally played "space" the entire time we were inside the room:) That being said, we had a few issues with how the room was maintained, with some items needing visible repairs (light switch not fully attached to the wall, a damaged bunk bed step, and some visible damage on the edge of the queen bed). We also experienced some concerns with service from the front desk with a promised microwave not being sent up and our breakfast order not being picked up the night before, leaving us to phone to ask about it in the morning--it was handled well by the kitchen staff bringing it up within 30 minutes and ensuring we were happy with it. Overall, the stay was for convenience within the mall and for our girls, which checked both boxes!
Our room was a bit disappointing with the cleanliness factor and with some roofing noise, but the convenience of being right at the mall was fantastic. The waterpark was a blast and saving on ticket prices was lovely. The front desk staff were lovely and helpful. Bunk beds also major plus for our family of 5.
Over all had good experience and Tran was very helpful.all over room was good, only I would like to request hotel management to add more elevators
love it the kids had fun i just don’t wanna go back to L2 restaurant poor service coffee is so bland and cold
Had an enjoyable stay with the family. We especially loved the valet parking and the staff at concierge. Thanks for a great visit.
It was good. Would of loved to stay in a theme room. Very expensive understand able but maybe once a month lower the price for the theme room so people can afford to enjoy the experience.
It was great,we enjoyed the room and services especially the one who assisted us, her name is Odessa, she’s so kind and friendly and offered great deals for us😊👍because of that,we plan to always book and stay in fantasyland hotel in the future so we don’t have to find other hotel near in WEM when we go to edmonton 😊anyway, thanks for the very good experienced, our family love it indeed👏👏
The room was spacious, the kids loved it.
The hotel was ok. We weren’t able to check into our room until 1.5 hours after check in - which is 4pm. We were told multiple times that it would be quick. It was not.
The shower didn’t work properly though it did work.
The TV remote was like hidden in the room and took us forever to find - I’ve never seen anything like it.
Probably would not stay again with so many options nearby.
My wife and me stay here often and it is oneof the funnest hotels we've been at! The theme rooms are AMAZING.
Even the hallways are themed. And the big jacuzzis are a blast. Really good way to break up the doldrums!!
And just excellent service staff, like THE best!! World class staff, really.
Love it there!!!!
The staff and experience overall was great. Super fun to have the theme rooms. Kids loved that. It was also extremely convenient to be stating in the mall. However with the cost being 3-4x standard rooms in the area, I would have expected rooms to be in better repair.
For example, the bed was lumpy and uneven. The decor of the room (wicker and carpet) were in poor totally beat up. It was very shabby in comparison to the cost of the room. Also having no microwave in the room was inconvenient. Dirty glassware was off-putting, and the shower was not large enough for 2 to use
Elevator lines were paid full, but not much could be done about that...
Overall, glad we went because the theme room thing was fun for the kids, but I wouldn't pay nearly that much to go back, if at all
The elevators were very annoying with line ups,so slow please try to up grade and maintain them properly because there’s always one or two of them broken
Really enjoyed the stay. I do have some feedback.
The space room is amazing. Love the general layout except for the white sharp lights on the main bed. The light switch is recessed back a bit and reaching I didnt notice, gave my head a solid bang and still have a sore head the next day. Those sharp corners should be dealt with, or moved very far up the wall.
The elevators should have someone to tell guests to get off and to tell others to get on the lift. For some reason the common sense of elevator usage is completely lost to some people causing an extra minute here and there causes wait times to be unacceptable. If a lift is "down" tell guests.
Your staff were always very pleasant and polite. Lovely work there. The rooms were great and fun.
Our worst room was the Polynesian, trying to fit too much in there, very little space. The African was unnecessarily large, and the Space was just perfect.
