The coffee maker difficulties
We stayed at La Quinta by Wyndham Tucson East and housekeeping never came to clean our room. When I called to ask for service, they said no one was available. I asked for towels to be brought up, and they refused – told me to come get them myself.
When I went to the office, they admitted they couldn't even give me towels because the maintenance man had left for the day and taken the only key to their supply closet with him. So they were literally locked out of their own linens.
If you need basic amenities or a clean room, do not stay here. This hotel is clearly mismanaged and understaffed.

From the moment I checked into the room to the moment I did not return to the room It was all bad . When I checked in, I was supposed to get a double sweet, not a double bed.The pictures and everything that I was sold on to check into the room was nothing that was advertised to me . The room was absolutely filthy.The bathroom was disgusting.The tub was not clean it was black. behind the toilet it Had pee everywhere. There was no toilet paper left in the room, a little bit like a quarter of a roll was left ,they had the audacity to fold it up nicely, there was dirt in all the corners of the room bathroom, there was dead bugs everywhere. I would never, ever ever recommend anyone stay at this place. Then one morning I'm in my suppose dubble sweet. I get a knock on the door there's some guy and some chick I don't know who they are. And when I look out the window, they're telling me to open the door but did not identify themselves, c ome to find out the guy who was with the lady was supposedly in-house security. He had a really bad attitude towards me And he's accusing me of selling drugs and saying that there's a bunch of people coming from over here, out of my room, buying drugs going in to GET the complimentary free breakfast and using my name.But the lady who worked there said that that's not me and I don't fit the description . On the Hand I don't know I never got to check out. Because, according to them, I'm a big time drug dealer, and I was arrested for trafficking drugs , i never got to check out the room because I was arrested placed in county jail.I lost everything I own in that room.So thank you la quinta. Then on the last note, the room I was supposed to be renting for 6 days. I was supposed to have gotten it for $236. They ended up finally charging me a little close to $500.

The property was clean, comfortable and great location
The beds were comfortable, but they were a little too soft. I like them a little more firm.
location - discovered new restaurant "Hawaiian Bros" right across the street. We both grew up in Tucson and there are a lot of new areas we have not explored.
No hot water - we had to move rooms because there was no hot water for shower or in sink in the back bank of rooms.
Booked 3 nights, paid for 2, stayed for 1.
