Excellent
Not much close by but good for and over night. My room the AC made so much noise it was distracting and impossible to sleep. My saving grace, I have hearing aids and I couldn't hear it once I took them out. This is wilting Violet but very good sleep comfort and good Internet
AC noise
Bad experience. Place is old and not well maintained. Staff is curt. Food is either undercooked or overcooked. House keeping not done as expected. Missing toiletries. Dusty room.
The Staff was amazing. Everyone we encountered was a joy.
The location. The pictures look nothing like the location. Very shady location. Homeless people with Gas station in same parking location I guess nothing can be done. Security should definitely be around 24/7.
Relaxing stay at the Hyatt Tucson-Central. Please don't hesitate to stay here from some of the negative reviews. It's quiet, safe, and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is clean with tasty selections especially the sausage, waffles, and salsa. Pool (heated) and hot tub in a large area with plenty of chairs. Friendly and helpful staff.
Marginal area with homeless roaming around property. People making noise outside late at night and what appeared to be an abandoned motel next-door. Homeless people at street corner soliciting money.
Very noisy AC; room window direct to the highway. Old elevators. Booked 2 night but can’t stay 2nd night, checked out 2nd morning, manager totally ignored my request, and charge as usual. Failed Call him, left message, no response at all! Worst hotel experience ever in my whole life so far!
Hotel is not as nice as it looked in the online photos, it's not as new/clean/updated as I had hoped. It's in a bad area and we were worried about our car being parked there. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is a nice option. It didn't taste great. But it was nice having access to coffee first thing in the morning. Would not recommend this hotel though as it's not in a great area and looks nothing like the online photos in person.
Clean room, friendly staff
This property is awful. Duty and very outdated. Swamp cooler for an AC unit that is loud and doesn’t really work. Hot water was like warm. Cleaning staff left dirty towels on floor along with cleaning spray on sink counter. Maid also smelled of cigarette smoke which made the room smell . Overall this place is a dump.
It was very clean and easy to find all the staff were excellent plus it had a bar they also served food plus a hot breakfast which was very good
The area that it was situated in
Area around hotel has some transient people BUT hotel feels very safe.
I chose this chain hotel since I know what to expect. And they are pet friendly. Which is a plus since we are traveling with our miniature schnauzer. Their breakfast is outstanding!! Their lobby is clean and inviting. They have plenty of parking space as we were moving from one state to another and had a U-Haul and his car tow behind. Easy access to and from I-10 East. Unfortunately, the area is a plight. There’s a Circle K as you enter the property with homeless people/addicts hanging out nearby. To the right of the property is what looks like an abandoned motel but looks like had residents. I actually felt apprehensive as we arrived late and it was dark. The staff was friendly and polite.
Location
Wonderful cozy hotel with a good solid breakfast and comfortable beds. Staff makes this a welcoming home away from home.
This is a run down Hyatt. The property is located in a sketchy area. You might be able to be overcome if the hotel was not so dilapidated. Avoid this Hyatt
