Can't wait to come again!
Pros:

The entire set up was thoughtful and welcoming. The staff were always very responsive and available. The rooms were large, bright and comfortable.

Cons:

Unfortunately, being vegetarian, there wasn't a great choice of food available - especially when staying multiple nights.

It was really good.Hot shower and the mosquito net really helped at night because we opened the windows.

Pros:

great bedroom, nice staff and overall a very agreeable stay.

Cons:

bear in mind that there is quite a lot of noise at nice because of the tiny frogs that inhabit the pond at the property.

Beautiful & peaceful stay at Soames
Pros:

We loved our stay at Soames and will definitely book again if we're ever in Nanyuki. The room, bar area, location and setting were absolutely beautiful. We're also vegan, and the staff were amazing at ensuring we had multiple options to choose from on the menu. Really friendly staff -- an amazing, peaceful stay. Highly recommend!

Great location and fantastic food
Pros:

The pont in front of the restaurant attracts loads of birdlife. Magnificent views of Mount Kenya! the staff were incredibly friendly.

Cons:

Nanyuki gets bloody cold at night but we won’t blame Soames for this 😉

Pros:

The food and view are great but the service is wanting. There is only 1 receptionist who is there during the day and in the evening things cannot no sorted in the room. Room 3 did not have internet and the TV was not functioning. What was weird was that after pointing the issues out the staff who were present said they can't do anything about it. At some point, one of the waiters acted like we are bothering him when we took a while to order.
The design of the bathroom is great but the water flows out of the bathroom area to other areas of the bathroom.
