Broadmore Miami Beach

The room has rusty parts on the ceiling where the tubes are covered with white pain. the beds had white sheets with stains.
They gave us a room that smells, mold. We requested change rooms and they gave us another room where the air condition was refreshing up the room.
The front desk was direct enough to say you get what you paid! which is that a professional service to give.

The smell. The toilet sis not flush. The sheets had stains on them and the place wasn’t well kept carpet though out the place was nasty

Not clean, staff took too long, rooms were not ready by 4 pm. Very outdated, even red roof has a better chance of getting better scores.

The room was filthy. Beds full of hairs. Mattresses without protectors. Stains. The bathroom smelled of cockroach pesticides. Pretty sure there were bed bugs, my 8-year-old laid down for 20 minutes and ended up with several bites across her legs.
When I complained and requested proof of my check in and out times, my request was refused by the supervisor who was bothered and angry staff called her at midnight. She literally yelled at me, "you don't understand anything, I'm not going to help you!". She was mad and tired? Me and my kids came from a 6-hour flight and my kids were falling asleep and dragging her feet when we got to the hotel, which by the way is impossible to know how to get to. First you park by the library where homeless people are yelling at each other and it's dark, leaving you feeling super unsafe, and then it starts the game of how the heck you access the hotel which has a construction fence all around and entrances are blocked.

It was a NIGHTMARE... Avoid at all costs. I'm telling you. It's not worth it. Run.

I booked a balcony room for 3 nights, but they apparently overbooked it, so we didn’t get the balcony room for the first night.

We had two rooms. The hotel itself is beautiful but I felt like our rooms were built in the 1800s. The room my friend and I stayed in had a huge stain on the sheet of one of the beds. When it was time to sleep my friend lifted up the sheet and the whole side of the sheet on the side closest to the other bad had stains that looked very fresh. It was gross. Our toilet got plugged and the maintenance man said we weren’t supposed to put toilet paper in the toilet. So we didn’t put toilet paper in it anymore and it still didn’t flush. No phone to call the front desk was very strange.

The location was not ideal, a rough crowd for our first time in Miami. The pictures when booking looked nothing like the room we stayed in.

The construction to the side and front of the hotel interfered with our appreciation of the beautiful beach.

Smells on the carpet floor, safety, cleaness

This property is very old and rooms don’t have no coffee or anything for the guest.. elevator is terrible

There is 1 small elevator that takes longer than walking up the 3 flights of stairs.
The keys didn’t work and every time you have to go back to your room someone had to open it. I remember this hotel about 20 years ago and it was sad to see it so run down it is.
