Location
Needs more selection at breakfast
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was ideal for Chester Races.
I asked for a double bed but was given two singles. Not ideal, but everything else about the room was fine.
Everything about our stay.
The room was perfect.
Downstairs in the Bar area there was free tea's and coffees. Unless you wanted something a bit stronger...🙂. This, of course was not free.
What I really like was that breakfast was included in the price.. fabulous
Car park fee. The car park was £12.00 for 24 hours.
Sometimes you just have to put up with things like this, to gain a lot more.. the Holiday Inn Express near the racecourse was exceptional...
Staff very professional and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Good choice for breakfast and restaurant well organised. Hot food could have been warmer but very pleasant and helpful staff.
First hotel that I have been to where complementary drinks available which I thought was fantastic. Will definitely recommend and return.
Breakfast buffet could have been warmer.
Great location, easy to get to and easy walk into the city centre. Great value for money, breakfast was good.
Rooms aren’t soundproof sadly so can hear the road a lot and if anyone’s in the hallway you can hear their conversations.
Breakfast was good and location perfect for what we required.
The noise wasn't great and machines kept breaking at breakfast such as juice machine and toaster. Substitutes were on hand but not as good as could be.
Excellent location, staff, room.
Security. A person can enter front of hotel into lift and onto floor where rooms are without a card. A card scanner between lift and doors would have made my wife happier.
Staff very friendly
Room was very comfortable
Some room parts could do with being refurbished
Location easy walk into historic Chester centre.
Road outside a bit noisy with window open at night to cool down room.
Really nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast
It wasn’t obvious where the car park was however there was also one across the road from the front door which was actually cheaper
Excellent location for the racecourse. Nice bar area. Good breakfast. Excellent car park.
Bed was too small. Someone tried to gain entry to our room at about 3am but luckily we had the chain on the door.
Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van de stad 10 minuten lopen, het ontbijt was erg goed, er was van alles wat
Niks
Check in and the staff were excellent, Breakfast had a great deal of choice catering for all. There was a guest with a strawberry allergy when we stayed, as told by the staff, when I asked about Jams, and the reason given for missing items was due to this, which, I thought, was a great touch from the hotel.
Rooms are pretty small, and compact, especially for a 3 bedroom. The items inside had not been upgraded for 3 people staying, so I had to go to reception to get extra towels and cups etc. Rooms were excessively hot, and with no air con this made it quite uncomfortable to stay and sleep during the night. Air con would be a great addition on an upgrade, given the way the climate seems to be going. Or windows that opened a little further to bring in more breeze. The hair dryer in the room started burning, and the smell was awful, this really should have been removed from the room and disconnected from the mains so it couldn't be used. We did find a portable hairdryer later in the room.
La gentillesse et le professionnalisme lors de notre enregistrement, le petit déjeuner gratuit et copieux, les belles explications pour découvrir la ville.
Le prix très élevé du parking (12£ la nuit)
The room was easily accessible, near the fire exit, staff were really helpful. Parking was great and easy walk in to town.
The room was too hot to sleep at night.
