Overall, it was a good place to stay for a couple of nights to explore this area of Taipei.
Pros:

Clean and pleasant environment with easy access to transport and many places to visit and eat.

Cons:

I didn’t like that I could hear the plumbing from the adjacent room - when the bath tub was being filled, shower and toilet being used.

Pros:

Professional staff (however not friendly). Clean. Convenient.

Cons:

Staff aren't always friendly. Security sits by the door reading newspaper instead of greeting guests immediately downgrade this to a 3 star hotel.

Excellent Location. Excellent Front desk and Concierge service. Scott from concierge is especially attentive in helping with getting us taxis and advising the driver of our destination. Zhongshan where hotel is located is convenient and tree lined. Wifi is strong and reliable. The Premium Double room is clean and quiet. Lunch at its Nakayama Japanese restaurant is highly recommended - We had its set lunch and is reasonably priced and fresh.
