We loved the location: across the river and several blocks from the main plaza, so quieter and calmer. The staff could NOT have been nicer, more accommodating or helpful. I wish I could remember their names because each and every one of them earned a great big shout out. Breakfast on the terrace with a view of the snow-capped mountains was a great way to start each day. It's a small hotel with a charming courtyard (photo) so you feel like you're in your own little nest in Arequipa. Our room was lovely, the king size bed luxurious, plenty of hot water in the space-age shower (photo) and high quality towels and shampoo, etc.
Nothing. Some might want to be closer to the action, or have an elevator or other such amenities, but this place was perfect for us.
We liked everything about this hotel. It is a boutique hotel, reaosnably priced for what you experience. We had a room with a view of the volcanoes, we felt secure, welcomed, private and very comfortable. There is a lovely courtyard (where one of us did morning yoga on our own mats before other guests were rising). The breakfast is made to order including which fruits you might like fresh, which fresh juice, eggs to order, etc.... and was delicious (the best we had at a hotel in Peru)...simple and fresh. The breakfast is served on an upper terrace and is again just lovely. We were very happy at this hotel.
The front desk staff are helpful and kind and called us by name- they are also involved in serving breakfast when needed (they have some English). Everyone we encountered was respectful and helpful. The woman (whose name we have forgotten) who is both at the desk and helps with breakfast- is very kind and warm and made us feel very welcome.
Try the food at Kao (Tai-fusion) - our favourite meal during our Arequipa stay...and there are too many coffee places to name in the area. An amazing stay.

Je commence à être très sceptique concernant les avis sur Booking, car pour le prix payé et le service offert, cela n’a aucun sens.
D’accord pour un petit-déjeuner à 7h, mais au minimum un plateau café dans la chambre devrait être proposé. Le petit-déjeuner est toujours le même et après quatre jours, nous avons dû demander d’avoir autre chose.
On ne va pas à l’hôtel pour Internet, mais les jours de pluie, il est important de disposer d’un réseau Wi-Fi et d’une télévision par câble qui fonctionnent, ce qui n’était pas le cas au départ.
Aucun chauffage dans la chambre et isolation inexistante : on entendait absolument tout, même quand le personnel passait le balai. Nous avons voulu changer de chambre, mais c’était pire, car celle-ci donnait directement sur la rue, avec encore plus de bruit.
Après nos plaintes, nous avons reçu un nouveau réseau Wi-Fi et un plateau café dans la chambre, mais cela reste beaucoup trop cher pour le service proposé, surtout lorsqu’il faut sans cesse réclamer.
Pour le même prix, nous avons terminé notre séjour au Sonesta à Arequipa, et c’était nettement mieux, avec de nombreux extras inclus sans avoir à mendier.

El restaurante, abren a las 2pm. Cenamos un par de veces y tanto la comida como la atención fueron muy buenas.
Pedimos que el desayuno estuviera listo a las 7 am para tener tiempo de desayunar antes de la recogida a las 7.30, llegamos a la terraza y nada estaba listo, terminamos desayunando en 5 minutos. No hubo ni siquiera unas disculpas.
El agua de la ducha helada... se les olvidó poner el calentador. Cuando lo informamos, tampoco se disculparon, comonsinesto fuera normal.
Ahora, hablemos de la falta de aseo de la habitación y del baño, pareciera que no lo hubieran limpiado desde hace mucho tiempo.
Y por último, la perla de la estadía, La habitación queda justo debajo de la terraza, hicieron un evento que se supone terminaría a las 5 pm y se alargó. Justo llegamos de una excursión cansados y con ganas de descansar... imposible por el ruido... cuando preguntamos a qué hora acababa nos dijeron a las 5... pasaron. Las 6 y tuvimos que salir corriendo al centro a buscar un lugar tranquilo para esperar.
Al dia siguiente, el baño de la recepción estaba extremadamente sucio... ya era medio dia y no lo habían limpiado después del evento del dia anterior.
La ubicación es perfecta y el hotel en general es tranquilo y muy cómodo. El desayuno te lo preparan en el momento y está todo riquísimo. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Sono stata molto soddisfatta dell’Acolpacha Boutique Hotel di Arequipa. L’hotel è bello e curato, la colazione è ricca e preparata al momento, e il personale è sempre gentile e disponibile. Lo consiglio vivamente.
Wir sind schon sehr früh morgens angekommen und durften gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis schon aufs Zimmer und sogar noch frühstücken. Das war sehr zuvorkommend und der perfekte Einstieg. Das Hotel ist in einem historischen Gebäude untergebracht und wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind entsprechend kolonial eingerichtet und das Frühstück wird auf einer Terrasse mit Blick auf die Stadt eingenommen.
Das Frühstück war übrigens wirklich eines der besten während unserer ganzen Reise.
Die Lage ist super und man kann in nur wenigen Minuten über die Brücke in die Altstadt laufen, aber auch auf dieser Seite gibt es viel zu erlaufen.
Leider waren wir nur 2 Nächte in Arequipa, aber wären gerne länger geblieben.
