Great hotel for a short stay.
Pros:

Great central location, clean well appointed room. Lift was fast and accessed securely through use of room card. Breakfast buffet was great in terms of selection and quality.

Cons:

Car parks were quite narrow.

Great convenience
Pros:

Great location for walking to Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, ample parking right next door to the hotel.
Having a bar and restaurant on premises was very convenient. Room was soundproof.

Cons:

Bathroom was very dated. No microwave in the room.

Cons:

1. The main issue was that our room key was deactivated early in the morning, even though check-out was at 11:00. Because of that, we couldn’t use the lift while carrying our belongings, which was quite inconvenient and also a bit embarrassing in front of others.
2. Also, I prefer bathrooms without a bathtub underneath the shower, and I’m not a fan of shower curtains—they tend to stick to the body and let water spill outside.
3. They also did not provide the city view room as advertised, which was disappointing.

Centrally Located
Pros:

Centrally located, we went to an event in the new convention centre which was only 2 blocks easy walk, close to Sky City, The Civic and Aotea Centre. Adjacent to parking building so no problems with car parking. Just take the elevator to the Crown Plaza level 4. Easy.
