Pros:

Great location. Next to Kremlin and other tourist attractions. All walking distance. Good hotel. Absolutely great breakfast spread. Highly recommended for stay at Moscow on business or leisure trip.

Historical, beautiful place
Pros:

A historical, wonderful hotel.Is not just a hotel, but a luxurious classic experience.The front office was wonderful and very supportive, check and check out very smooth.The FB team provided perfect service.The breakfast is a journey itself.
I definitely recommend it.The location is also a big plus as is just few meters from the Red Square

Beautiful Historic Building
Pros:

What a beautiful historic hotel the place is gorgeous and well maintained. Food and service are impeccable. the glass ceiling the gold touches and the whole vibe is magnetic. great location and super courteous staff made it all such a pleasant stay in Moscow

Outstanding Hotel with History
Pros:

This is our second time staying at Metropole. The rooms are comfortable. This past occasion we were in a historic room. The only issue was it was extremely warm in the room upon our arrival. Opening the windows was not easy, but achieved, The cool winter air was excellent in the warm room. Because we like to take stairs, we found out that once in the stairwell, there was no way back in so we walked to bottom. Locating an Exit was an experience as we were deposited into the Metropol Hall.
The following morning we dined in the Metropol Hall and again were more than delighted with the breakfast. We recognized staff from previous visits.
This is a great hotel with fantastic staff.

Treated like Royalty at Hotel Metropol Moscow
Pros:

If ever you want to get a chance to be treated and feel like royalty, visit and stay at Hotel Metropol Moscow. I had this rare privilege when I visited Moscow and stayed at the Hotel. The Hotel offers unparalleled services with courteous staff. The historic building is striking and the Hotel is conveniently located within a walking distance to the historic Red Square. For those who love shopping, all there are shops and malls with all the major brands.

Pros:

Cons:
- Hotel does not prioritize its guests for the onsite restaurants. I was unable to get a table in either of the two restaurants and had to get out for dinner
- The room was not very clean, the carpet was really dirty
- My floor (#3) was very noisy
- No bellboys when I arrived, and the hotel had stairs
Pros:
- Good location and great (but expensive) breakfasts

Overall, I will prefer National or Four Seasons to this one

Pros:

I cannot recommend the Metropol enough. The staff are SO pro, friendly, helpful, fluent in english. The food is bananas good. The hotel is immaculate and the location stellar. I will not stay anywhere else in Moscow. Do not hesitate, book it.

Excellent value for money, really nice rooms.
Pros:

The hotel is perfectly situated near shopping streets and the Kremlin compound which makes it easily accessible. Rooms were spacious and modern with excellent value for money. The concierge were very helpful in arranging our tours or booking us restaurants.

And until now no one speak with me and inform me anything about my payments for some services I don’t get it with concierge and they don’t return my money 6500 Russian Ruble its mean the organization its so bad

This historical hotel has beautifully renovated rooms and facilities, attentive staff and great location- just a few minutes walk to Kremlin, Bolshoi theater, best shopping and restaurants. Delicious breakfast and room service. We requested a late check out and were able to stay until 4PM!

We chose the Metropol because we had enjoyed A Gentleman in Moscow. It is a historic property so that the common spaces were of unusually large size with exotic art and furniture from another period. The room itself was sufficiently large but had not been updated with the most modern conveniences, such as USB ports. We were fine with that because we brought the necessary equipment. We had stayed at the ultramodern and ultraluxurious Four Seasons the two nights before. We much preferred the Metropol.
