Sehr gute Lage im Zentrum.
Sehr nettes Personal.
Sehr kleines Zimmer
Very nice building with a pool on the roof, the staff was helpful trying to help with my request to get the room I booked from Booking. Very good breakfast and clean rooms, I would definitely stay again.
Somehow the room you book from Booking and the one you get from the Hotel does not match. There are so many room types in the hotel. The staff helped me pick one that I liked the most so that was helpful but the room still was not the same room I booked from the Booking website.
The staffs are nice
The room is terribly small, hardly can move around
The building is very nice but the rooms are small. The breakfast was very good and the staff extremely polite and helpful.
The room we had was too small for 2 people and had no space for suitcase and v little storage.
Excellent breakfast. Restaurant meals were expensive.
Shower was a bit small.
Loistava palvelu, ihastuttava hotelli⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Copenhagen, a perfect refuge during a heatwave. The hotel is gorgeous, spacious, and fully air-conditioned. The rooftop pool was an incredible bonus, and the design throughout, from the stunning lobby to the highly functional rooms, is beautiful.
The service is excellent, with quick responses 24/7 and incredibly kind staff. We also loved the on-site bakery, the great courtyard food, and the free bike rentals.
However, the bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. We slept very poorly throughout our stay, which heavily impacted our energy during the trip, despite the staff's kind attempt to help with an extra mattress. Additionally, for a hotel of this caliber, the breakfast would benefit from an à la carte menu and proper barista coffee. Lastly, while the location isn't ideal, it is very accessible.
Overall, this is a charming hotel with great service and fantastic value. We truly loved it, apart from the sleep quality.
Handy light switches in room. Key card worked well. Location nice.
Internet a bit testy. Front desk had to log me into staff site so my emails would send.
While I did not particularly like this property I can appreciate that others (read millennials) would likely love it.
1. Sleep - mattress, pillows, curtains
Pillows and bedding were good
The bed itself was three layers - box-spring - foam mattress - topper.
I found the bad slipped off the foam a lot making it difficult to sit on the side of the bed because it squished down and slid
Comforter was 2 single bed comforters - weird - maybe that's a Danish thing.
Curtains were good but did let light in around edges
It's a little noisy. The windows block a lot of the sound but not all. Can hear trains at station across street and some road noise and sirens. Not terrible but be aware
2. Shower - water pressure, flood floor
Good shower. Good design to keep water from flooding floor - but the shower is a little small so water sprays through gap in door and onto the floor.
3. Clean
Yes
4. Power outlets
Good with two on each side of the bed
5. Desk - workable - power - chair
No desk and no chair
Has a small bench to sit in - pretty ridged
6. Room - chair, layout
Room was fairly small - good use of space - but tight for one person and would be very tight for two
7. Wifi
Good. Looks like fiber because speeds generally 175 both up and down
8. Fridge that isn’t warm or frozen and water bottles a plus
Fridge good - prefilled with minibar so not a lot of room
No water - brought a jug second day - apparently there was supposed to be water first day but wasn't
9. HVAC
Good. Kept room cool
Interestingly the panel doesn't let you set a specific temp. Just allows +3 or -3. Not sure what from - presumably current temp. Worked but it was nice weather in mid 60s so not hard to keep room cool
10. Do not disturb sign
Yes
11. Safety of area and especially inside hotel
Hotel felt safe
Area is busy - near train and near university and near amusement park with rides etc.
Overall
This is a trendy lifestyle hotel. Millennials will love it. For me the room was a little small - a little dark - without a desk or sitting area - and with the bed too soft to be able to sit on the edge so overall it was a little uncomfortable
