The Buena Park Hotel & Suites

Came to check in and the employee was at lunch. Have to wait for service only one person working.

The overall cleanliness was disappointing. The corners of the room were dirty, and even walking around the room didn't feel clean. The biggest issue was that I woke up on the first night surrounded by bed bugs, there were probably more than a dozen.
When I reported it to the front desk, the staff member didn't seem particularly concerned and simply offered us another room. Given the situation, we wanted to speak with management instead. Unfortunately, we had to wait for hours to speak with a manager, before being told by the next clerk that management was unavailable on the weekends.
Considering the price we paid and the length of our stay, the experience was absolutely not worth it. The poor cleanliness, bed bug issue, and lack of urgency from the staff made for a very disappointing stay.

The outlets weren't working, the armchair was missing in the first room, the phone was missing from the room, and they canceled our reservation without our permission as we were arriving on a very crowded 4th of July weekend. So much so that we had to pay again to reserve the rooms again. Once we finally got into our second room (the first room was no good), our stay was overall pleasant and good for the price. If the loose outlets next to the bed get fixed, we may consider coming back again.

The room was not clean. We could see hair balls on the floor. My kids had their socks full of hair after walking for a few minutes around the room. We were in a double suite and both of the bathrooms lost power at night, so we did not have light. We called the front desk twice. On the 2nd call they said that the issue had already been reported and that they would take care of it. The next morning we continued without light and showered using our cellphone's flashlight. We went to the front the desk and the person in charge said it might have been a breaker. Told her the issue had been reported at night, and she just said, maybe my coworker got busy. The location was great as it was very close to Knott's Berry Farm, but would not stay there again.

We got bite up by bedbugs

Jacuzzi didn't work breakfast could be better furniture could use a update.

I didn't like the time frame of the breakfast schedule 7-9am. We arrived at 8am. As my family served their breakfast, I was in line for making waffles for everyone. I was in line for 40mins. I spent 20 mins making all the waffles. As soon as I was done, the area was closed (breakfast was already over). It was too much of a rush and no time to enjoy. Make sure you are there right at 7am.

Unfortunately, for the price I paid for the long 4th of July weekend, we found dead flies under the air conditioning unit in the room. We had to kill a fly and a large cockroach that was in the room.

The main light switch next to the door always reset the alarm clock on the night stand. The 2 lights in the room barely had enough light for us to move around the room.

The bathroom as spacious as it was had 2 major problems. The main outlet for the hairdryer did not work at all. We tried several attempts to reset it but it never came on. The water pressure in the sink and toilet were stronger than in the shower. The shower water temperature never got hot enough in the morning for my family to take a proper shower. Therefore, we didn't take any showers for our last 2 nights of our stay for our vacation.

Going forward, we will NOT be staying at this location no matter what deal or price is given for us for future vacation stays in the Buena Park area.

Plugs were bad neighbors were loud

The spa was down our entire stay. The breakfast buffet needs a couple more options and needs to run longer than 2 hours.
