Disappointed with Breakfast
Pros:

We visit this hotel a couple of times a years as it is easy to get to the places we visit in Wilmington.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. The past two stays we have been disappointed in the breakfast offering. They have the usual spread for a Holiday Inn, but the food has been cold. Other hotels can keep food warm, they need to figure out a way to do so also. I don't eat pancakes and I do not care for the artificial eggs that hotels serve and always eat the boiled eggs. This hotel has stopped offering them as a selection.

Pros:

The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable mattresses/bedding and house cleaning did a great job thoroughly cleaning our room.

Cons:

I wish that staff would use the pool robot cleaning system during the night after pool is closed versus during the day when everyone would like to use it.

totally great for a single overnight

bathroom lighting is awful, pool could've used a quick skim. Bed, while seemingly comfy, left my back sore

We only stayed one night just for a get away so it was nice for that, comfortable stay
Pros:

pretty clean facility, the bed was comfortable. I wish they had earlier check in & now I know to go ahead & ask for a later check out before the list reaches capacity..I like how it is fairly close to the beach

Location was nice. Breakfast was warm and tasty with plenty of options.

Cons:

I had already contacted the hotel and asked for adjoining rooms. They confirmed they had a king that adjoins two queens.
We get to check in and the employee stated that since it was a third party they didnt have communication. I pulled up my email between holiday inn, not booking.com and informed her that was incorrect. She never apologized, just said "this is what we have." Rude, and didnt offer to help solve the problem.
