Location
Paid parking
Rooms had cold ac, and was cleaned well
Having to pay $83 to park on lot when I rented 2 rooms for 2 nights and spent over $800 at this hotel for 2 nights
Really enjoyed the stay just wish it was on different circumstance.
I really DID NOT like the idea of paying to park on property .It wasn’t gated and vehicles still could have been broken into.
Good
Every thing good
Room was clean and AC worked well
Front desk staff was rude. When we checked out at 5am the person who came from the back office was barefoot and loudly on the phone. They tried charging me for 2 stays after failing to update my dates on the first one. The front desk staff when we first arrived were very unprofessional and talked about us in front of us saying “as long as we get paid I don’t care” talking about the room mix up. The hotel had 2 elevators with one always being down and the only one up taking 5 minutes to work. The hallways were constantly dirty.
Loved it all
Close to hospital.large spacious rooms with kitchen and cooking area with seperate bedrooms
Nothing
Breakfast and main entrance was very appealing
My room ac unit was leaking. My bed made noise all night. It was rust and hair everywhere and the toilet ran for what seem to be 10 whole minutes
1. You would think paying $40-$50 a night for parking would get some sort of sense of safety or security. Random people loitering around the parking lot at all hours, asking for money I would not expect.
2. I had to bag up my own trash and ask for towels twice during a 4 night stay.
3. The rooms are in desperate need of an update. One of our light fixtures didn’t have a shade on it. Just an exposed bulb. Tubs stained, cracked bathroom sink. Bathrooms are dark.
4. After spending 4 nights here, only 1 of the 2 elevators worked 95% of time. After reading past reviews, this was also mentioned . Long waits for elevator.
5. Ice machines were on each floor. Only a couple of them worked. Also noted in past reviews.
6. Washer and dryer in laundry DID work for $3.50 a load each.
7. Multiple people complaining at front desk noted when passing through lobby.
8. As far as location, in general it is good. Vanderbilt directly across the street. Quite a few restaurants within walking distance. Taco shop right across street was good. BBQ place across street was good. Starbucks and McCallister’s a block away. Centennial Park with the Parthenon is very close. We visited around early evening and there were many people playing soccer, frisbee, etc. in the outskirts of the park near the road, there were a few homeless bedding down for the night. I wouldn’t stroll around after dark.
I understand that things break down. But it doesn’t seem that anything ever gets really repaired. Hilton needs to take a look at this location and make necessary changes.
Computer system was down. No wifi. Reserved a king bed and had two queen beds, bathtub had no drain plug, only one of two elevators worked. No hair dryer in room. One queen bed had frame broke. Had to pay for on-site parking.
The outdoor pool and breakfast
No inside/outside jacuzzi
This hotel is tired and definitely needs an update. First impression walking into the lobby was depressing - furniture was worn, check-in desk was cluttered and associate was slouched over the computer. Guest room had stains on carpet and in the bathtub, but bed was comfortable, AC worked well and there was plenty of hot water. Coffee in the morning was cold and I reported it to the front desk, but associate didn’t appear too concerned. We didn’t eat the breakfast, but it looked very poor. There was some sliced bread and bagels, but no muffins or pastries and no fruit. There are better Hampton Inns in Nashville. Would not stay at this one again!
Parking was $35/ night!!
Beds were soft
Shower was dirty. Only one elevator working at a time. Breakfast wash trash and worker comment to other guest that she has other stuff to do was unprofessional when items were low. Staff was not helpful at all, stayed on their personal phones.
