Room was clean and comfortable.
Commode was to low. Parking was way to expensive!
Location
No hairdryer, hole in wall, hairs all over shower, and only 3 pillows per bed
Location, very clean and comfortable

Convenient to Vanderbilt and food spots
Having to pay for parking and the shower water didn’t get warm.
Excellent staff, breakfast was good. Room was cozy and clean
Great location- easy to drive to Bridgestone Arena - Friendly and accommodating staff
3rd party charging for parking - since no shuttle is provided to Arena - have to pay to park on property and then have to pay to park downtown - very expensive parking per day
I am shocked this is a Hampton Inn as it is not up to standards. Lights in bathroom did not work no door knob on door to the bathroom. Not clean - this Hotel needs to do major renovations ASAP!!!!!!
Convenient location for my needs
Having to pay to park my car, no valet.
The room was the farthest away from the elevator and I have difficulty walking distances.
Very clean, beds were hard but everything else was good. Read my What I didn’t like.
Someone was smoking in the room next door. The smell could be smelled in the bedroom of of our suite and the bathroom. I have asthma and it was a miserable night. I told the staff and they said they could move me. We was late and we were already settled. Nothing was done and when I asked about a small credit and was told no.
Great staff and location
No notice when booking parking was $40 a day
Breakfast was good, and the location was awesome,
Our room had BUGS, had to pay extra for parking, request for mor towels and rags which was never provided. Was unable to use guest laundry room due to appliances not working. Maintenance or management wasn’t notified to fix the problem.
Before staying here please understand you’ll have to PAY to park here by a company Park Happy. I stayed there for two days and paid for my room but then I had to pay 85$ for parking for that 2 days! I am a 100% disabled veteran and can park downtown for free but not this lot EVEN renting a room! I contacted the parking lot company for refund with no vail, and well Hampton won’t entertain my concerns on it as well. I could understand if I was parking to have a good ol time but my brother was having heart surgery at Vanderbilt so I had no choice but to pay it! These companies are unpatriotic, rude and greedy..
Great location, about a 10 minute drive to downtown. The suite was especially large with a great view of Vanderbilt. Overall we were very pleased with our stay!!
Nothing negative to say
The breakfast was fine. We were up at Vanderbilt fir my husband to complete a week’s worth of tests to qualify for a double lung transplant. He is now having to use oxygen. When we were loading the car to leave there today, a young man named Edward helped us load our suitcases into our truck. He didn’t have to do this, but he was kind, thoughtful and very helpful. I appreciated this so much since my suitcase was very heavy. Edward deserves a promotion or a raise!! People nowadays don’t seem to ever want to help anyone, but Edward did. Thank you, Edward for your kindness and much appreciated help!! Jennifer Owen
Stay Away - Book Elsewhere! This is the worst Hampton Inn in the brand family system. The hotel is very run down, dirty, and smells. Furnishings, flooring, chairs, etc. are all badly worn out. Lobby is uncomfortably warm because not running the AC sufficiently or it is broken. The hotel is badly understaffed in all areas. Room was not ready at 3pm and only received a room at 430pm because I called Hilton corporate which intervened. Then the room they gave us smelled and was super warm 78 degrees despite thermostat set to 65 - obviously a broken AC for that room. We left immediately and switched to Homewood Suites across the street which is 1000 times better. And AMEX helped obtain a full refund from the Hampton Inn.
Absolutely disastrous hotel. 1st they said no early check-in because all the rooms were full, and they were blatantly lying about the rooms being full. After we check in our room is terrible! There’s mold on the bathroom walls, and you can see everything is very old. Staff was generally unhelpful. Finally while checking out, they said that we could not do late checkout because once again the rooms were full, we checked online and to no one’s surprise there were tons of rooms available, so in other words they were blatantly lying again. Not worth 300 bucks.
It was close to the medical center
Paying $35 per night parking, the heating in the room didn’t change temperatures, the heater had flashing lights all night long, had to ask for room to have garbage emptied and new towels. Had to ask for glasses as well.
Staff very friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to help me with a couple of issues and I really appreciated it
