Loved how close it was to the Mall & that it had walking distance restaurants right up the street. Nice quite neighborhood too!
The laundry mat only had 2 washers & 2 dryers, which got a bit hectic. If you didn't stand there while your clothes wasked/dried, other guests would come in and remove your items & place em on top so they could use washer/dryer.

Bed squeaked with every move. Breakfast was bagels or toast or waffle, spoiled yogurt, and brown bananas. Had no hot water for over 24 hours of our stay and the front desk staff said it would be back in 30 minutes but the next stay was still not back.

I can appreciate a hotel that is renovating and upgrading, but the upgrades should be done professionally. See pictures attached. We arrived on a Saturday and were told by the desk clerk, they were running out of hot water and that they were working on it. We said fine, we didn't realize that we would not have hot water for 2.5 days! No one ever told us this, we overheard staff while sitting in the lobby that there was not hot water until Monday. There was no option given for a discount or to cancel the existing reservation and go to another hotel or even a sense of urgency to correct the issue. The manager Vidhi Patel, never came to the hotel during the no hot water time, and left the staff to handle the customers, as you can imagine many were not happy not having hot water. We never saw the manager the entire time of our stay even after asking for them on several occasions. In addition, a housekeeping staff brought their baby to work, and I am not judging what an employee has to do to maintain employment, but to have a baby sit in a stroller all the days mom works cleaning rooms is a sad situation to see. The child literally sat in the stroller all day most of the days were were there. The other issue is the adjoining rooms. You can hear everything happening in the room next to you. We had a family with 2 kids the first 2 nights and you could hear everything. The 4th night, there was a woman screaming until 12:15 a.m. when I finally banged on the wall at 12:30 a.m. The only positive thing I can say is there was only 1 staff member, who handled the no hot water situation w/tact and diplomacy and that was Ryan. He was patient, listened to customers and tried to work out solutions. Do better La Quinta at Addison Galleria, I would not recommend this hotel or stay at it again. I am baffled how the ratings are 4.0 this should be rated a 2 star hotel.
The location was great; in the middle of plenty of food options. Staff was nice and responsive. Room was comfortable.
Bad tv options. Breakfast was not hot (had to microwave). No hot water for one whole day. Have to request for room daily room service.
The front desk helped as much as they could as there was no hot water for 3 days of our stay and took the brunt as the manager didn’t show at all during this time where she should have come to confront the many unhappy gusts.
