It was exactly everything I needed for this business trip and so glad I had 4 days to be there.
Pros:

staff was fab at the front desk and the bakery; so personable!; loved my free breakfast; loved the 10% off my first meal at 1865 Craft house - I ate there 3 out of 4 nights; smoke alarm chirped one morning and they immediately came and swapped out; the next morning the 2nd alarm went bad chirping and they swapped out again so quickly too; the cookies were a lovely, homey touch; room with 2 queens and a love seat area and work space was so perfect!

Cons:

Despite all the lamps, it was a little darker than I like when working at the desk; Parking charges should just be build into the room search in my opinion; pod coffee makers should be in every room; I brought mine from home due to convenience; I wish the restaurant was an option for my dinner choices.

Charming stay, quiet night, a good value!
Pros:

Really unique style, charming atmosphere, staff friendly, although the first person who greeted us at the front desk looked tired of her job. I had to go back to the room for something I lost, and the housekeeping staff were excellent in helping and in general always very nice to interact with. We did try their restaurant for breakfast, the food was pretty good and the staff attentive and pleasant to interact with. The night was so quiet, no sound at all. I had the best sleep.

Cons:

There are signs of some things getting forgotten. Little details are not paid attention to, nothing major but enough to notice but all in all still very charming.

Charming, cozy at a great location.
Pros:

I thought the property was charming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
Also, we had a wonderful breakfast at the restaurant. Some of the best coffee I've ever had!

Cons:

Can't think of anything.

Stay was great.
Pros:

Very clean, easy check in and pool nice and hot.

Cons:

The restaurant which used to be a great place it has re open but not really good. Food ok? Menu very limited. Best they have is the bakery. Too bad they don’t capitalize in the great once was.

Great location, great room
Pros:

Loved the fireplace in the room as well as the pool and jacuzzi on the property. The king room was so spacious and nicely decorated. Also the location was perfect for exploring the downtown area of SLO. Felt like a really great value for the price we paid!

Pros:

Loved our room and the staff were very accommodating! Wine tasting was fun.

Cons:

We have been going to the Apple Box for years. Really miss the jelly and the cute shop. The breakfast was not great. probably won’t eat there again.
