Taru Cave Suites made for such a memorable stay. Mr. Mehmet and especially his team have been nothing but kind and gentle, creating a truly welcoming space.

The room carried a sense of antiquity — as you’d expect from a refurbished cave suite — but with simple, elegant touches that gave it real class. The bed struck the perfect balance of soft and firm, exactly what was needed after long days trekking the valleys.

Breakfasts here were something special. On my second morning I practically leapt out of bed for my honeycomb — thick, dark pine honey with a resinous strength — paired with crisp potato pancakes. I’m not usually a cheese person, but I gave in and was rewarded with an assortment of dips that made the spread feel like a feast. The perfect start to the day.

The owner of the hotel, Mr. Mehmet, is very kind and accommodating. He gave us a room upgrade at no extra cost and always ready with his recommendations with regard to tours, restaurants and just anything that could be of help to make our stay truly comfortable.

All the hotel staff, from reception, housekeeping and the ladies who managed the breakfast area are highly commendable. We feel at home at this hotel, as they extend personalized service to each guest.

We really recommend this hotel to anyone who will be visiting Cappadocia.

I was here on a Study Abroad Trip from the U.S. and I stayed for 3 nights. Everything at this Hotel was outstanding. They had an absolutley incredible Hotel Breakfast that was fresh and delicous every time. They cleaned our room every single day and replaced our towels and used toiletries every day. The hotel was clean and very cozy. If I ever come back to Turkey I will most certainly be staying there again. You can expect a beautiful view, kind and helpful staff, super cool cave design, and so much more during your stay. 10/10 I recommend anyone to stay here.

Otelin odalarını çok beğendik mağara şeklinde ama sizi boğmuyor 2 camı ve bir balkonu vardı yağmur yağarken balkonunda oturmak çok güzeldi. Yatakları rahattı, tuvaleti odadan büyüktü içinde hem küvet hem duş vardı. Odanın ve tuvaletin aydınlatması gayet güzel olmuştu.
Çalışanlar gayet ilgili, özellikle kahvaltıyı hazırlayan ablalar çok tatlıydı size özel omlet yapıyorlar kahvaltıda. Park yeri var ama girişi birazcık dar çok büyük arabalar giriş çıkışta birazcık zorluk yaşayabilir.
Otelin içinden Ürgüp merkeze inen kapı var rahat bir şekilde yürüyerek inebiliyorsunuz arabayla girdiğiniz yerden dolaşmaya gerek yok. Hazır Ürgüp merkeze inmişken Ebru sanat evine uğrayıp ipek şal üstüne ebru yapmanızı tavsiye ederim.
Tekrar gitmeyi düşünüyoruz ve öneriyoruz

Her sabah aile evinde uyanmış ve sofraya bekleniyor gibi hissettirdiler :) her türlü soruya cevap veren, gezi planlarken destek olan bir ekiple karşılaşmak bizi çok memnun etti . This is a hidden gem in urgup, not far away from the hot air ballooning with convenient access to restaurants and stores. Service was amazing and the room experience was top notch. Special note about the personalized breakfast experience with an awesome view.

A Fairytale Stay in the Heart of Cappadocia!

Our stay at Taru Cave Suites was truly magical — we can confidently say this is one of the best hotels we’ve ever visited.

1. Atmosphere & Design:
The hotel is set in a traditional cave structure, perfectly blending historical charm with modern comfort. The interior is a work of art — every room is tastefully decorated with authentic Turkish touches and attention to detail. The ambiance is serene, cozy, and incredibly special.

2. Rooms:
We stayed in a cave suite with a fireplace — spacious, warm, and stunningly beautiful. It truly felt like being immersed in the spirit of Cappadocia. The bed was extremely comfortable, the linens fresh and soft, and the bathroom was luxurious. Housekeeping was flawless and done daily.

3. Staff:
The service was beyond excellent. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. We were welcomed like dear friends. They helped us with airport transfers, local tours, and gave great recommendations. A special thank you to the manager who made our stay feel especially warm and personal.

4. Breakfast & Service:
Breakfasts were a culinary delight! Every morning we enjoyed fresh, local delicacies, traditional Turkish flavors, freshly squeezed juices, coffee, and tea — all served with care in a cozy setting overlooking the valleys and hot air balloons.

5. Location:
Taru Cave is located in Uçhisar — a peaceful and picturesque part of Cappadocia. The famous Uçhisar Castle is just a short walk away, and all major attractions are easily reachable by car or tour. It’s perfect for travelers seeking both tranquility and beauty.

Final Verdict:
Taru Cave is not just a hotel — it’s a place that touches your soul. You feel truly special here, and it’s a place to relax not just your body, but your mind and heart. We left with warm memories and a strong desire to return. 100% recommended.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and 4 days, and we truly loved it! Everything was amazing, and we had such a great time. Especially Mr. Mehmet, the owner of the hotel, was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy for us. The hotel perfectly reflects the spirit of Cappadocia — every detail has been thoughtfully designed. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a room with a balcony, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was very clean, and the bathrooms were spacious and fresh. The shower and bathtub were spotless. Breakfast was prepared fresh every day right in front of us, and everything was delicious.

The hotel’s location is great — within walking distance to all restaurants and cafes in Ürgüp. Since there are both lower and upper entrances, we had easy access both on foot and by car. Parking was not a problem at all, as the hotel has its own private parking lot.

Despite having several floors, the hotel also has an elevator, which was a nice bonus. We also took some lovely photos of our room and the hotel itself. Thank you for everything! We’re heading home now with great memories, having enjoyed excellent service at a great price. We’ll definitely come back!

Girişten çıkışa kadar her şey çok iyiydi. Tesisin kendine ait otoparkı olması çok rahat oldu. Oda çok temizdi, kahvaltı çok iyiydi. Tüm tesis çalışanlarına teşekkür ederim. En kısa sürede yeniden ziyaret planlıyoruz.

Şömineli oda tercih etmiştik ancak yakamayacaklarını söylediler birde jakuzi değil sadece küvet var. Onun dışında servis ve hizmet çok iyiydi.

I had such a lovely stay at Taru Caves. The hotel is beautifully located, just a short walk from the town center, which was super convenient. The suites were beautifully decorated and kept very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel very welcomed. I really enjoyed the breakfasts, which were super fresh and delicious!!! It’s definitely a place I will never forget, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We chose this hotel as we wanted to have the experience of staying in an actual cave, but with all the facilities. It was the best choice.
We had a late arrival, with a rental car which we left on a narrow street behind the hotel. The men welcoming us took care to move the car, gave us the keys and did the checkin extremely fast, while we were in the room. When traveling with a kid you do appreciate this a lot.
The hotel has multiple rooms on different levels and they have an elevator which makes things much easier.
I choose an Executive Suit, which comes with a large hammam bathroom. It proved to be exceptionally useful as we decided to have a hammam experience with their professional masseur, Ahmed. I can only say that he has magic hands, very nice and my 10 years old son loved the experience as much as we did.
The breakfast is served on the rooftop restaurant with a splendid panorama of the town. They prepare eggs at your request, they have hot dishes and provide very tasty local salads, cheeses and products. Also, the Turkish coffee is a must.
All the staff were more than helpful and friendly.
It is worth every penny! They really made our stay exceptional.

We had a wonderfull stay in this hotel for a night .I am fully delighted and satisfied with everything in this hotel. It is exactly the value for the money you pay. Stuff friendly rooms are super comfortable and big toilet and bath is biggest that i have seen. I highly recommend staying here . Would i come again?? I m looking forward to it 👍
