Leuk hotel met vriendelijk personeel.
Pros:

Klein hotelletje met de basisvoorzieningen op orde. Ontbijt was prima. De dames van het hotel waren erg gezellig en vriendelijk.

Cons:

Jammer was dat de kamer redelijk klein was. Maar we hebben ons prima gered voor twee dagen.

The staff was exceptional and really cared about our comfort. They were very forgiving when we forgot to return our key.
Pros:

The rooms had good views especially the communal breakfast nook.

Cons:

It was hard to find the entrance.

Comfortable
Pros:

Bed was clean and comfortable, room small but that was stated in the room description. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

Very noisy on the bottom floor, noise travelled down the corridor and from the footpath outside. You could also hear noise from the rooms above.

Kann man machen
Pros:

Bei der Hotelsuche wurde mir nur dieses angeboten. Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen da es keines gegeben hat. Ich fand das Hotel etwas eng im Treppenhaus und bin ständig irgendwo hängen geblieben. Das Zimmer war groß genug mit Blick über Hólmavik. Das Bad war etwas klein und nicht mit anderen Hotels vergleichbar. Das Haus an sich ist entweder im Umbruch und wird gerade saniert oder im Frühjahr weitergebaut. Ich kann dazu nichts sagen aber es wirkte hier und da etwas unordentlich. Ich nehme an, das es mit Personal, in den Sommermonaten etwas mehr lebt und das Ambiente schöner ist. In Hólmavik selbst gibt es ein Hexenmuseum mit guten Seafood und eine Pizzeria die ganz gut ist. Eine Tankstelle hab ich auch gesehen und eine E-Ladesäule sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es auch. Ich meine außerhalb der Ortschaft irgendwo noch auf einem Abschlagsplatz vom Golfplatz das Polarlicht fotografiert zu haben. Ansonsten ist die Ecke sehr einsam und man sollte die Tank- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nutzen bevor man weiter fährt.

Nice location in town with views across the fjord, cheerful staff and plenty for breakfast.

Cons:

Condensation on the windows would spoil the views on a morning but otherwise nothing
