Overall experience very good And location.
Breakfast. Ut used to be very good.
We chose this hotel based off the location, free breakfast and free parking. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the breakfast gave just enough varity to have different options each day. The only down side was an inconsiderate guests who left their barking dogs in their room to go about their day while the dogs stayed behind and barked. Not the hotels fault but something to aware of since it is a pet friendly hotel.

Good atmosphere. Take advantage of the happy hour because the bar charges $18 for a Long Island afterwards.
Clean and close to the office. Only wish the TV were smart TV’s
It was my birthday when we came to this property and the staff was so attentive! We checked in at 530 so we went over to the happy hour and all adults got 2 drinks. The bartender was really sweet and mentioned she was hoping to retire within 2 years! I wish I could remember her name, but she kept checking on us and was so precious! Serena, at the desk, was a sweetheart and also very attentive.
I don't know who was in charge of it, but when we came to our room, there was a birthday card, too!

Overall, clean and orderly. The property is starting to show some signs of age with chipped paint on trim and it seemed like the carpet in common areas needed a good cleaning. Our room was at the rear of the property so we used the rear entrance. That area needed fresh landscaping and powerwashing. It was not a welcoming entrance. When we left at 6am, there was a person sleeping on the bench just outside the doorway. If I were traveling alone, I would not feel safe.
Regarding the morning buffet, I would recommend a pitcher of filtered water needs to be added. Water dispensed through the soda machine is not optimal.
Friendly service. Nice to have pool indoors so we could swim regardless of the weather. Happy Hour with two free drinks was a nice surprise! Breakfast was tasty, including made-to-order omelettes. We also liked the proximity to historic sites in Winter Park & Eatonville, and the beautiful Wekiva River.
This is a sub-par Embassy Suites. Breakfast was half the selection and offerings of other Embassy Suites. No spare sheets in our room, the door jammed (needed to slam to get it to close) and there was NO body wash in the shower - which really stinks to find out once you’re in the shower!
My go-to hotel when in Altamonte Springs, FL. Not only is this place safe, it's remarkably clean, a fresh scent greets my arrival in the lobby, great view of the lake, right next to the mall with PLENTY of restaurant to choose from if your not a steak eater. Yes - The steakhouse was named Omaha & had under gone a name change but with the SAME GREAT FOOD!
Everything is always great. I just wish you would not replace the plastic bags and soap EVERY day. It's too wasteful.
The breakfast was incredible and the omelette station was outstanding.
The rooms are in desperate need of remodeling! The orange couch and the carpet smelled like mildew or mold. We were on the second floor with a view of a building and wind turbines on a roof of the first floor. The lamps either didn't work and or were not compatible with updated phone charging. I selected a room that showed a nice view. Very disappointed in accommodations but enjoyed breakfast. Sad to see neglect in what was a quality brand i could depend on!
It’s in a great location. There a lot of food places nearby. The mall is close to the hotel. Beautiful interior. Great staff!
