Santa Maria Hotel Entebbe

Clean and comfortable room. Glad to have a great hot water shower after a long trip from the Equator. Staff super nice. Chefs food service was great! Hospitable!

The facilities are just average. Service needs improvement. Good security.

For the price this was great, felt like we drove a long ways to find it, the bed was comfortable, free breakfast was good, airport shuttle and driver took us to the zoo. Staff don’t communicate well but they took good care of us. Pool was clean and we enjoyed the restaurant, too.

Good. The staffs were excellent

They did not know we were coming. It took 20 minutes to find a room. They tried to put me in one that was not cleaned.

We checked in at 8:30 p.m. we wanted to take showers and go to bed. We were unable to. The electricity went out five times within the first 25 minutes that we were there. It was hot in the room and was not able to run the fan or the cooler. We were not able to take hot showers because the water is hot on demand via electricity. In the morning the breakfast was hard. They had chicken wings that had been sitting there for a long time and their potatoes were cold and sitting there for a long time as well. Would not stay here again.

Great staff, very helpful and friendly. I would recommend it to others based solely on the engagement of the staff. Facility is outdated but very well kept and clean. They need to include full toiletries in the restrooms i.e. lotions, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryers. The garden is immaculate, the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, totally worth it. Steam room and sauna were also very well kept. Would visit again.

All staff very polite when you found one . Restaurant for lunch & diner lacked staff . There was a lack of hot water .
Airport to hotel and back to airport shuttle service was the best i have come across .

Lovely accommodations, staff is friendly and extremely helpful, the free airport shuttle can be hired, at a reasonable cost, for other purposes, as well, Adult and children’s pool, both immaculate, sauna. Restaurant on site with variety. Great pillows and comfortable beds.

After a looong day of traveling and covid testing we arrived @ the resort. Roger was there to pick us up @ 2am. Very pleasant and professional. Needing much rest and a hot shower and trying to connect to the internet finally got to sleep @ 4am. Very nice bed. Other than the internet being sloooooow and spotted, and noone to assist us to get on everything was great. Yes after the young man showed us ti our room he ghosted. Other than that if i had time i would have stayed longer.

Staff were generally very helpful and pleasant, pool was good and clean, dining area was nothing special and food preparation slow.

Lovely spot in Entebbe - lots of space in the apartments. Mattress was extremely firm (only drawback).
