Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront

amazing experience, awesome location! great room and lounge area, attentive staff! close to restaurants and highway.

ALWAYS a positive experience at the Hyatt. We have stayed there 15+ times and never experienced a problem. The complimentary tea (and coffee) in the lobby and the free parking are pluses. Hotel is always clean staff is friendly and respectful. The location is perfect for accessing the Riverwalk Can't wait for the new Constitution Yards to open - we will be back!

We stayed here last year, i used my cc points to book a room for my mother and i for a girls weekend away, shopping and hanging out. We brought a fan this year as it is a little warm for us menopausal ladies, the staff was new, but very nice. The food at the bar was good. My only issue and this will cause us to not return, by booking thru a 3rd party the breakfast is no longer free, although it said free breakfast, staff told us that they can't honor a free breakfast when booking thru a 3rd party and we need to book thru the hotel, well my points let me do this trip and i can't use them if i call and book thru the hotel. Thank you but we will choose a different hotel next year.

The Staff at the Hyatt was very friendly and polite they really go above and beyond Dee and Quay the front desk agents were very professional in the check in and check out process all our needs were met

Excellent stay with family and young kids! Rooms and hotel were very clean. Front desk team was one of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve come across. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Highly recommend.

$11 per person for breakfast is ridiculous for self-serve & food not great especially when you're already paying $203 for room.

I really didn’t like this hotel. The rooms were dirty, and the fire alarm kept beeping and waking me up. The management wasn’t helpful and was rude when I asked for any form of compensation.

We’ve stayed at this hotel every Thanksgiving for 3 years straight, it’s clean and beautiful. We plan to keep this tradition for years to come.

Probably one of the nicest Hyatt Place properties I’ve ever stayed in! Modern, clean, great staff, good breakfast, plenty of free parking. My only complaint was that the breakfast staff couldn’t keep up with the amount of people coming in on a Saturday morning, but guess that’s to be expected. Would definitely stay here again!

Attended a conference around the corner. Hotel shuttle was convenient. Breakfast area immaculate and well stocked. Room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Wonderful night at the Hyatt Place in Wilmington. The location is fantastic, plenty of parking, the building is clean and in great condition. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful and offered me water upon arrival as well as late checkout without me even having to ask first! I had a wonderful corner room overlooking the river and was able to enjoy a nice long run along the river walk in the evening. It's a shame that Iron Hill Brewery closed because it used to be right next door and on the water but hopefully something else will take over that space. I enjoyed dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant and the breakfast at the hotel was plentiful, varied and delicious. If I ever had to return to Wilmington I'd definitely choose this hotel again!

I was in town for My 20th reunion for Homecoming. My room was available for check-in extremely early, the lobby was very clean. Parking was plentiful. The front desk attendants were very polite & informative about the area’s attractions. My room was clean & spacious, the hallways were clean & quiet. Housekeeping were timely with their rounds. Our event in the ballroom was awesome, the food was great, the bartenders were very nice, the outdoor area was a great addition! Breakfast staff was polite & helpful. The tea station had so many delicious selections! The bartender in the main lobby on Friday night was very accommodating & polite! I hope my school books another weekend here as well as the event venue! Amazing experience! The entire staff was top notch!

Great hotel stay on the Wimington waterfront. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Always a pleasure to stay when going to DE.

Everything was great. It was one night but well worth it. The environment was great. Highly recommended for anyone who is in this area to stay.

We spent 4 nights here, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well located on the riverfront. Once we parked up we only moved the car to do some shopping and get some laundry done (highly recommend SuperSuds for this). There are several restaurants and bars within easy walking distance (though Iron Hill Brewery has apparently shut since our visit). It's a straightforward walk to the train station as well - we did on a day trip to Philadelphia. We were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast offering as well. There were a couple of weddings at the hotel during our stay but we didn't have any noise issues.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bedding is very comfortable and got a great night's sleep! Great location too. You will not be disappointed.

The experience at this hotel for our family wedding event was wonderful. I decided to stay at the hotel where the event was taking place not only based on my niece and her new husband's choice in where they would get married and have the reception, but also on the rating and reviews of the hotel prior to booking. And of course it did not hurt that the price of the rooms was still comparable to other hotels in the area that did not have the same great rating. The staff was great from the phone calls I made prior to arriving, the greeting at the front desk when we did arrive, and just the general the helpfulness, politeness, and professionalism of the staff throughout the hotel the entire weekend. The room was great, with a beautiful view, and vey spacious. We had three rooms to accommodate my family and they were all on the same floor near each other, and not far from the elevator (which I requeated because of my own mobility issies). The bathroom was clean, spacous and had plenty of towels, wash cloths, etc. There was a desk for workng and organizing, and a sofa and chair area for sitting and relaxing while watching television. The beds were super comfortable, there was pelnty of lighting in the room if needed, and the television was a great size with more channel options thatn I expected. The desk area was beautifuyl, with fire pits to keep warm if you wanted to sit outside, and the food was magnificent. We also got to see a row team practicing on the river behind the hotel. I would not only stay at ths hotel again, but recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Wilmington, DE.
