Huelga / falta de personal y atención
Pros:

La Ubicación es muy buena! En especial si vas al Chicago Marathon porque literal pasan por ahí es la primera milla y puedes ver perfecto.

Cons:

Hubo huelga de trabajadores durante toda nuestra estancia.
No nos hicieron la habitación
No nos querían respetar nuestro desayuno incluido
El personal ni siquiera pidio disculpas por la huelga o por la falta de gente (enviaron una carta general en el hotel que te daban puntos, en ese momento no quieres puntos, quieres tener una habitación limpia)

A big hotel name doesn't guarantee great service or good staff; the lack of care here is obvious.
Pros:

To be honest and realistic, the only good thing this hotel has going for it is its location. The shower water pressure is good, the beds are average, and the elevators are fast. It could be considered an average hotel, though there is still a lot of work to be done.

Cons:

The hotel is understaffed; throughout our stay, we witnessed a constant, very noisy strike that spilled into the hotel entrance and disrupted the peace, making arriving at the hotel an unpleasant experience.
The beds weren't made and the rooms weren't cleaned during our four-night stay; they didn't even bother to provide fresh towels or empty the trash. The restaurant breakfast was terrible, with dirty tables and staff who were clearly unhappy working there. The food tasted awful, breakfast options were very limited, and it was overpriced.
The facilities are old and in need of significant maintenance.
The rooms are noisy, and you can hear the plumbing all the time—including from bathrooms in adjacent rooms and on other floors. The WiFi keeps asking all the time your room number and constantly drops connection on every previously registered device.

Unfortunately, the workers decided to strike the day I arrived. I support workers trying to collectively bargain and their right to strike. However, the excessive noise (drums, chanting on megaphones and other noise makers) from 5am to 10:30pm every night was too much to accept as reasonable. It ruined my experience and all the time I spent at the hotel. The incorrect information given to me by hotel staff did not help the situation.

Totally satisfied and I can be critical!

Location, location, location! Staff iwas excellent (even tho housekeeping spoke little English, she was great), slept like a baby, totally enjoyed the pool, the specials at the cafe were delicious (the chicken sandwich n fries-thumbs up to the chef) . SO many choices of where to hang out without leaving this “resort”. Will definitely return!

That gave us a disable room all the water from the shower ran out all over the bathroom. They didn’t make up the rooom. The staff that received us on the evening we arrived was very rude and angry. We didn’t have a nice experience so sad cause we are Marriott users.

Overall a good place to stay but the parking is insanely expensive. We ended up getting parking way cheaper in the NBC b

You can’t beat the location. It is right on the river and in the heart of everything in Chicago.

Cons:

The room was kind of dated and pretty small. We only had a view of the roof and you could hear the people’s voices next door through the vent which was pretty annoying late at night.
