Great hotel-just call your own ride vs. ripoff by doorman.
Pros:

The hotel was fantastic for both the lodging and the conference. My only complaint is that the doorman just flatout lied that the taxi fare would be about $30-35 to Midway and it was nearly double that. No delays or reasons. I will take uber next time.

Extended Stay
Pros:

The room itself was nice with a great view, and most of the employees I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The location is convenient and within walking distance of several stores and restaurants, which made getting around easy.

That said, the on‑site coffee shop and restaurants felt noticeably overpriced. I also attended a banquet where cans of pop were charged at $9 each. The meal was a mix of good and not‑so‑good: the beans and mashed potatoes were tasty, but the chicken was undercooked and had to be sent back.

Cleanliness was inconsistent. The room overall was very clean, but the washroom wasn’t up to the same standard—there was hair on the floor, and even after housekeeping came through, a straw wrapper near the toilet and a streaky mirror were still missed.

On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and they honoured a group rate for an extra night, which was extremely helpful during a storm.

Overall, a stay with some strong points, but also several areas that need attention.

Not worth it.
Pros:

It was close to downtown and the river. You wouldn’t really need an uber but due to the weather, it was way too cold to walk so yu decide. We spoke to a guest service representative at the front desk, Rachel and she was helpful!

Cons:

We were planning on staying 3 nights but due to an incoming snowstorm, we decided to change our flights and leave a day earlier. Marriot declined our request. It just seems like they want money.

Also when purchasing the room back in September, we requested a double room with river view. They ended up giving us a king bed with street view. When we asked for a change, they told us we had to call our third party provider in order to get the room we requested and paid for. Also, they charge a $30 per day “resort” fee. This is not noted when you book the room. Finally, the pool is freezing! In case, you have kids who love to swim.

We will not be staying here again.

Cons:

I asked when reserving if I could have an early check in, and got no response. When I got there to check in, I had to pay extra. An amenities fee was charged to my account and it wasn’t necessary, we didn’t use it. The room didn’t have a fridge in it and the bathtub was slanted.
