It was in a central location and the staff are very nice and helpful

The WiFi didn’t work and it was basically unusable and the air conditioning didn’t work so the room was at 27 degrees with no way to cool down

Para quem não prescinde do conforto.
Pros:

O quarto era excelente: silencioso, amplo, com bom sistema de climatização, colchão muito confortável. A piscina do hotel é ótima para nadar; a academia também é boa. Café da manhã muito bom. Embora esteja localizado numa região um pouco degradada de Porto Alegre, fica próximo de vários pontos turísticos (Mercado Público, Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana, Usina do Gasômetro...) e permite fazer vários passeios a pé, além de possibilitar acesso a condução próxima. O hotel tem um charme típico de edificações antigas, como o elevador com revestimento em fórmica cor de vinho, mas não está decadente; pelo contrário, está muito bem conservado. Em suma, recomendo fortemente.

Cons:

A música ambiente no saguão e no salão de café da manhã é sofrível. Acordar de manhã e se sentir numa boate não é confortável. Poderiam colocar uma música mais calma e elegante, condizente com o clima do hotel.
