Whoever made the decision to put a full-length mirror directly across from the toilet 3 and 1/2 ft away was brilliant, but besides that the stay was okay
Location was ideal for our needs to be close to the market center. And shuttle availability.
The whole place is under construction, I would have expected a lower rate than standard. I have to say we had no construction noise in the room, they did really good with that, we had brand new carpet on our floor. Bathrooms need updating too, I almost slipped twice in the tub. It's a good place we just had bad timing.

First of all the price was ridiculous for that one second I mean it was no upscale nothing it's just a regular old hotel but I guess because the World Cup was there in Dallas they were charging outrageous prices and I wasn't even part of that we were just we were just coming to drop my grandson off because he lives in Aledo we live in San Antonio so no I will never stay there again

Under construction, backup alarms on man lifts non stop all day. No complimentary breakfast.
Room was comfortable
One of the main reasons we stayed here was for the outdoor swimming pool for our kids. I called the day before , I called on our way to the hotel and after we got there I inquired about the swimming pool. Staff told me it has been open. Later in the evening we got ready to go to the pool i called again and was told it was open we went down to the pool only to find out it was closed for cleaning. Very upset parents and crying children. Why could the pool cleaning guy clean it after they close the pool. Also the entire lobby was under construction and was not made aware of it prior to booking.

Breakfast was good and staff was friendly.
Carpets throughout the hotel and our room were stained. The entire hotel smelled like mold/mildew. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. I have an autoimmune disease so breathing in those was not good for me at all. Our entire bath tub was peeling, like it had been painted. Also around the drain was completely rusted out. The bathroom smelled like urine! The our rooms A/C has something wrong with it. It wouldn’t hold temp so we were hot all night plus when it came on it rattled like a washing machine which kept us awake. We didn’t know that the hotels atrium was under construction so you had to park in the back of the hotel. Wish I had known before booking or we would have gone elsewhere. I have traveled throughout the country and have stayed at the Hilton Garden before but this location was the worst! The breakfast was the only positive thing.
