Wouldn’t return at any price.
Pros:

Not much. It was close to an event we were attending, there are much more pleasant and still convenient areas.

Cons:

The price I paid on booking wasn’t the full cost. They charge an undisclosed (until too late to cancel) 23$ “destination”fee … as far as I can tell we paid that just for wifi and a few bottles of water. I didn’t appreciate a $100 deposit -per night!- excessive. Our room and the guest hallway felt dirty. Stained carpets that were coming loose (I stepped on a carpet tack at the threshold of the bathroom), water damage severe enough to rot the wood of the mirror, a nail was sticking out of the wall where my toddler could run into, furniture etc in real bad shape. I get that it’s old, but you can’t just call it a “historic hotel” and neglect maintenance. Shower needs to be updated - the ceiling fixture has zero pressure and the hand set can’t be angled so you have to physically hold it to rinse off.

Céntrico y lujoso. Ideal para descubrir un Chicago mágico
Pros:

This place needs a remodel. It's nice to have an old elegant hotel but not if there isn't any upkeep
Pros:

The location was great. Cleaning staff was friendly. Lobby bartender was nice.

Cons:

The room was dirty. The windows we so dirty you couldn't see out and they were covered in bugs. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and the carpet in the room was old and dirty.

Pros:

Location was great. Our room was good for the quick trip we had there for a Cubs game.

Cons:

We paid in our total price through booking.com and it included breakfast. When I received my itemized invoice from Millennium Knickerbocker Chicago we were charged $65.94 additional for the breakfast that was to be included.
