Was glad to leave to get some sleep.
Pros:

Rooms were nicely decorated.

Cons:

We were not informed in advance that renovation works were taking place. From around 6:45am each morning, there was significant noise from concrete deliveries and banging, which was particularly difficult with a toddler. We were offered a room move, but this would not have resolved the issue. In the end, we were relieved to leave.

There was also considerable noise late at night (between 1–3am), with people leaving the square shouting in the street, which further disrupted our stay.

Housekeeping was also below expectations. There appears to be no routine room service during a stay, and we repeatedly had to request fresh towels and basic items. While these were eventually provided, it felt minimal, and even used mugs were not replaced.

On arrival, there were clothes left in the room from previous guests, indicating the room had not been properly prepared.

We had also requested a cot in advance via pre-arrival messages. However, upon arrival, we were told none were available. Thankfully, the reception team at the other hotel in the building assisted us, which we appreciated.

Additionally, there was visible mould around the bath, which was unpleasant, and the pillows were very uncomfortable.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience

The hotel is well located near the canals, with Rembrandt Square offering plenty of good restaurants
Pros:

The breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection, though nothing particularly memorable. The atmosphere was somewhat noisy at times, which made it less relaxing than expected. On a positive note, the welcome was excellent and the staff were generally friendly and accommodating.

The location was excellent, particularly being close to the canals, which added to the overall charm of the stay. Rembrandt Square offered a great selection of restaurants and a lively atmosphere. It was also very convenient for accessing the main sights, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

Cons:

However, one aspect was quite off-putting: I noticed a waitress handling cutlery and food items such as cheese with bare hands. This raised concerns about hygiene and nearly put me off my meal altogether. This is something the hotel should address promptly, as it detracts from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The receptionist who welcomed us was very pleasant and made a positive first impression. Unfortunately, the rest of the service did not meet the same standard. It was not clearly communicated that room cleaning needed to be requested via an app, which caused some confusion. To make matters worse, the app itself did not function properly.

During our three-night stay, basic amenities such as the coffee machine were not replenished, which was disappointing. We eventually contacted reception to request cleaning, but this was only carried out on the final day. Overall, clearer communication and more consistent service would have significantly improved the experience.

There was ongoing construction work during our stay, which raised some concerns. It did make us wonder whether the “good deal” offered through Booking.com might sometimes reflect situations where renovations are taking place. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have encountered this, and it would be helpful if such information were made clearer in advance so guests can make a fully informed decision.

Room cleaning wasn’t automatic - very 4 days unless requested. And I had trouble obtaining new supplies of tea and milk for the room tea making facilities

Soggiorno piacevole e in una posizione centrale
Pros:

Le camere sono molto spaziose ed eleganti. Forniscono anche acqua gratuita nelle stanze.

Cons:

Forse il prezzo della colazione è un po troppo alto (25 euro a persona). Cambierei i cuscini in quanto sono molto doppi.

location, breakfast, beds, 1 receptionts who was really helping.

Cons:

all other receptionists who were not aware of what they had or not so they simply reply that the hotel not provide for that item, cleaning service only upon request.
i understand we want to be environmental friendly, but one thing is asking to change the towels and bedlines or not, another thing is to not even make the beds unless upon request.
services shall not be downsized or asked for in a hotel of this price range.

Pros:

Posizione ottima in pieno centro comodissima a locali e principali punti turistici. Confort camera molto buono, ottime le dimensioni, olazione salata buona, yova, bacon, salmone, formaggio, pane di diverse qualità.

Cons:

Mancanza di un armadio atto a contenere almeno 2 giacche invernali. Colazione dolce lascia molto desiderare. Considerando il livello dell'hotel mi sarei aspettato di avere il frigo in camera per tenere in fresco almeno l'acqua.
