George at the concierge desk is wonderful

No cash payment option and the Spanish speakers didn't help at all. Especially the Mexican lady, her attitude was so rude.

Nothing to write home about

The front desk attendant was generally unfriendly upon arrival, which taints the first impression...

We love staying at the Claridge House while in Chicago. we travel once per month to the area and really appreciate the management at the Claridge House. Trevor is always professional and helpful during our stay.

My room was clean and well appointed. The location is perfect for leisurely walks to the lake. The staff is friendly and accommodating - especially Ms.Cookie! I would definitely stay here again.

Internet did not work for about 12 hours of our stay. That was a problem since both of us were there to work part of the time and planned to hunker down in the hotel room to do so. I asked for a refund for part of room cost, and it didn't seem likely it was going to happen. Other than that, good hotel. Probably better for leisure travel than business travelers.

great hotel in beautiful street close to everything

Nice unique hotel. Nice people, great area. Did not like that parking was $64 for 24hrs plus tip. which was about 20% of cost of room. Other than that hotel was great and it was an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is nestled in a great part of town with beautiful homes. Feels like a gem in the most amazing spot in Chicago. Safe to walk and close to convenience store & Starbucks. A few minute walking by Riverwalk & the Zoo. It is also a 10 minute walk to Michigan Avenue “Magnificent Mile” Shopping & restaurants. Restoration Hardware next block over & make sure to check it out. The hotel has a great bar & sitting area downstairs as well as outside seating. Everyone from the front desk to the bar staff were excellent. The selection of food, coffee, and cocktails was also great. The rooms were quaint but clean & newly renovated. Trevor the Manager texted me to check on my stay and quick to provide what I needed. Maura the front office Manager was also very helpful. The team here provided a world class customer experience. Make sure you book here next time you are heading to Chicago.

We stayed at the Claridge House for one night. Great area with so many dining options within walking distance. Also, close to Lincoln Park and the lake. As far as the hotel, it’s a charming little hotel in a great part of town. We got a fireplace room, very comfortable room with a small sitting room. Keurig coffee machine and small frig in the room. Writing desk, easy chair and ottoman right by the gas fireplace. We were on the 14th floor, but no view, just another apartment building. There a cafe/bar in the lobby (not owned by the restaurant) but very nice and friendly and some outdoor seating as well in indoor.

Very nice hotel, I truly enjoyed my stay

They were upgrading the Wi-Fi and it never came back for the last day I spent there. Also the bartender was very dismissive of my food request when I didn't know service stopped at noon.

Everything else was terrific.

Great place to stay! Cute decor! Issac at the bar was a gem.
