I’ve stayed here multiple times as a travel nurse and always enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and welcoming staff. The indoor pool being open was a nice bonus!
However, I did notice some guests—possibly from a nearby rehab facility—taking excessive breakfast items and occasionally arguing near the lobby. Thankfully, the staff handled any issues quickly. While the hotel itself is great, the overall guest experience can really impact the stay.
Very pleased with service will be staying again for sure
It was not clean homeless all over lobby and did not smell good security there three times a teenager bounceing a ball ar 6:00am in the morning
no entrance lighting
Most of the hotels in the area would be a better choice. The place was clean enough, and I was only sleeping there overnight so I didn't need much. There was a gap around the door frame of the room big enough to see clearly into the hallway. The seat on the toilet was loose and couldn't be tightened. When the toilet flushed the handle would stick, there was a crack in the tub. The beds were of lower quality than most places in the area, and I have stayed at several. It was one of the lowest priced for the night, and if that is what you are looking for the place was adequate. I was greeted promptly at the front desk both when I arrived, and when I checked out. Both people were friendly.
Good deal at a good price--if you don't mind dogs, and don't need the sausage and eggs in the morning.
Wonderful front desk staff at check in. Rooms dont have carpeting: That's nice for cleanliness, but not great when inconsiderate people are noisy in room above.
Very handy location.
This hotel is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Everything was dirty, there were hair balls on the floor of the room and the beds weren’t clean. There were wandering people in the parking smoking weed and cooking their food with their BBQ outside in the parking. It seemed like a spot for some homeless people to chill. There is a car in the parking that has 2 flat tires that clearly hasn’t been moved for months. We had to go sleep somewhere else without a refund because we felt unsafe. (Of course the reservation wasn’t refundable). Overall, DO NOT GO THERE!
Booked with the intent of it being a one-night crash pad…& I’m really glad that’s all it was. Floor in the room wasn’t carpeted, & it also hadn’t been mopped. We didn’t even bother with a shower. Got in late, slept, & were out the door first thing the next morning. Hard to be disappointed, since that was our only goal. And while we weren’t disappointed, we also didn’t have any reason to be impressed.
The random dude grilling in the parking lot & the bizarro gift mugs at the check-in counter blending religion & Trump were also….interesting….aesthetic touches.
Friendly staff, cozy place
This hotel is a homeless shelter
I felt like there were people actually living in this hotel and it was littered with bikes, grills, broken-down cars etc.
I felt compelled to write this to say this was just fine! I read some of the past reviews which made it seem like a "homeless shelter."..room was large, clean, with a small balcony. No smell of smoke--I even packed charcoal filters, a humidifier and air purifier out of concern. Bathroom large and clean with fan. (Pillows were a little small..._) There was a microwave and good-sized fridge in room and we even got a king bed upgrade. Breakfast had more choices than I anticipated: sausage, eggs (both just ok) plus cereal, bagels, juice, yogurt, oatmeal packet, apples. ..there were a couple of kids without parents there which was odd, but hey if they were in a homeless situation they were respectful, safe and getting some food. --Two other things...the description says there is no elevator. ( There is one). The staff was great but we did see a Trump for Jesus water bottle for sale at the front desk which was a REAL turn off, especially in Vermont. I would think Regional staff would NOT allow for selling of political merchandise. This hotel fit our needs and was affordable and close enough to downtown Burlington.
the property was so convenient to the city..it was nice and clean..the only thing we didnt like was people sleeping in the parking lot.(in cars)
Good
Nothing fancy. Clean and nice enough. It was a quick stay for us prior to a very early flight.
It was unfortunate that this property was being used as a homeless facility in addition to a functioning hotel. This should have been noted at the time of booking as it is not an overly pleasant experience when you are paying for a room.
A lot of noise from the military airport neaby.
I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Unsafe unclean and dangerous!!!
