The air conditioner in my room was ineffective at best. Not only was it hot in my room, It was hot on the entire floor and it made it very difficult to sleep. I ordered a fan and it took them over 2 1/2 hours to deliver it. Also, a random person just entered my room at eight in the morning without identifying themselves.

The only positive aspect was the location of the hotel. Other than that, the experience was very disappointing.
Unfortunately, our stay at Sheraton Dallas Hotel was far below expectations.
The housekeeping service was extremely poor. The room was not properly serviced, and clean towels were not provided even after I asked several times. I personally went to the front desk four times to request that our room be cleaned and that the towels be replaced. We were traveling with children, and for hygiene reasons clean towels were very important to us. Despite my repeated requests, nothing was done until I finally had to leave the used towels outside the room in the hallway.
This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this category.
The room furniture and elevators felt very old and outdated. In my opinion, the hotel looks like it has not been properly renovated for decades. The overall condition of the property does not match the price paid.
The service, room condition, and lack of basic housekeeping made this stay very frustrating. It was not worth even half of what we paid.
I would not recommend this hotel and would advise other travelers to avoid it.
In addition to the housekeeping issues, we also had a very bad experience with the laundry service. I ordered a laundry service, left the clothes at the agreed location, and received a paper/receipt confirming the pickup instructions. However, when the laundry delivery person arrived at the hotel to collect the clothes, the hotel staff said that the clothes were not there.
This was extremely stressful and unacceptable, especially while traveling with children. It showed a serious lack of organization and communication within the hotel. For a hotel of this category, this kind of service failure should not happen.

FedEx package services tainted my stay. I will actively avoid booking Marriott if I find out they use this in other hotels.
Hello we stayed for two days and two nights for abd check in staff were great they were friendly and we had gone to the restaurant downstairs it was called the open pallete the service was not the best the guy never asked if we wanted drinks other than water and when asked to separate the tickets he basically told us to work on them rather than him doing it himself and for the price some of the dishes were with small portions example the sausage plate with sides looked like a kids plate. My room was ok and it did leak from the ac and the man that came to fix it had the best customer service he did service the room right away and he was very friendly. Hats off to him i believe his name was Randy. The staff in the little store downstairs next to the bar that had games in it was little rude too. The line you did not really know where it started and when telling us that the line started where and when he was rude. He needs to work on his customer service skills especially dealing with a hotel atmosphere. Really enjoyed it and it was my first time to Dallas in a long time but overall other than that everything was great.

We recently hosted our board meeting at the Sheraton Downtown Dallas, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The staff truly made our event memorable from start to finish.
A special thank you to Sarah Chester, who was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Her professionalism and dedication ensured everything ran smoothly. Brice, in the speakeasy, elevated our experience with his exceptional mixology skills and extensive knowledge, creating a unique and enjoyable atmosphere for our group. Kevin in the main bar memorized our names and drinks right away making us feel at home. We would also like to recognize Felician G, who was consistently friendly and helpful while assisting with transporting our meeting materials and equipment.
One of the biggest surprises was the quality of the food. Both the restaurant offerings and catered meals were outstanding, far above the typical hotel dining experience. We also appreciated the attention to detail from the housekeeping and facilities staff, who continually maintained the common areas, keeping them clean and inviting throughout our visit.
The hotel’s layout, with its three towers, can be a bit confusing to navigate initially, but it becomes much easier once you’re familiar with the property. The location is another major advantage - easily accessible from the airport and within walking distance of many excellent local restaurants, bars, and attractions (if you want to brave the TX heat).
