Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft im Herzen Ortigias
Pros:

Ein sehr schönes, geräumiges Appartment in bester Lage.
Die Informationen sowohl vor unserer Anreise als auch während unseres Aufenthalts waren sehr hilfreich.
Die Wohnung war sehr ruhig.

Cons:

Bei der Anfahrt ist zu beachten, dass die Gasse, in der sich die Unterkunft befindet, mit einem Auto nicht zu befahren ist. Auch die Gasse davor ist nur einspurig, man kann also maximal eine halbe Minute dort anhalten, um rasch das Gepäck zu entladen.
Auch sonst gibt es nur Kleinigkeiten zu bemängeln: In der Küche fehlt ein Topf zum Zubereiten von Pasta, ebenso ein Geschirrhandtuch.

Quiet location, spacious and beautiful rooms.
Pros:

Centrally located in the island of Ortigia, in a very quiet small alley.
The room was on the ground floor, with big glass windows and doors bringing light inside.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
The staff were nice and responsive.

Cons:

You can hear noise from the room above you; conversations, noise from TV as well as footsteps.
There's a common area with a pool table and comfy chairs, but that was not available - perhaps they allow access during the summer season. The same can be said about the seating area inside the courtyard.

L’emplacement + la décoration de la réception et du salon.

Cons:

La chambre est très sombre, peu d’éclairages, c’est triste. Il n’y a aucun volet et un seul rideau très peu occultant. On est réveillés tôt par le soleil. Sur le reste de l’appartement, pas de rideau sur un côté, donc très peu d’intimité. La chambre est assez bruyante. Problème de fenêtre cassée dans la salle de bains, ouverte du coup tout le séjour + le store de la fenêtre de la salle de bains qui s’est effondré le 2ieme jour. Odeurs d’égouts dans la salle de bains.

Accueil extrêmement sympathique et chaleureux.
Notre hôtesse nous a très bien accueillis et nous a donné de bons conseils afin de faciliter notre découverte d’Ortigia.

Beautiful, spacious and peaceful apartment, great location for exploring the island.
Pros:

Large apartment, high ceilings, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Loved the courtyard space with comfy chairs for reading and drinking coffee! Espresso machine was also much appreciated and there was a large jacuzzi. Air conditioning very good. Plenty of storage space for clothes etc. and a fridge and kettle, although no cooking or washing up facilities. Staff replaced used cups/glasses. The staff were lovely and very helpful, booking restaurants / suggesting places to visit etc and the apartment location is excellent, close to shops including a small supermarket which was open in the evenings. The entrance to the property is in an alleyway not accessible by car/taxi, but we liked the fact that it was away from the busy street, making it peaceful sitting in the courtyard.

Cons:

I absolutely loved this property and hope to return. Minor niggles? No hooks / rail to hang wet towels. Also, even in September, the dehumidifier needing water emptying pretty much every day. To note: the whole apartment is open plan, with a living area, bedroom area and, with a small step up to the bathroom area, which is a bit of a trip hazard when using the bathroom in the night. The toilet & bidet are behind a frosted door on one side of the jacuzzi and the shower and washbasin on the other side. There is no door to the shower and washbasin area, just a glass partition with a doorway, so it’s difficult to use the washbasin and shower without waking your partner! But the apartment is really lovely, just flagging as it might not suit all couples.

Would not hesitate to recommend both the hotel and the city truly a unique and fasinating place.
Pros:

Great location and clean modern facilities, pleasant staff, felt like a home away from home. Nice to have a kitchen to cook in as a break from restaurants for people on longer trips. Excellent restaurants and a swim platform close by, city felt very safe and great to explore.

Cons:

Parking was difficult to find and we damaged our car turning into the garage which was offsite (per typical for Ortigia) so that coloured our stay, waking down cobble streets with baggage for 10 minutes is not ideal. However that is more the city than the property to be fair. Perhaps a fair price to be able to visit such a wonderful and unique city.
