It would be fine for a night.
Pros:

The staff was friendly and everything in the room was clean.

Cons:

The sun beaned through the windows no black out blinds, the bed and pillows were not comfortable. The breakfast was okay but the arrangement and line for waffles was crazy.

We were visiting our 2 young adult sons in the area for July 4th. Thanks for being dog friendly!
Pros:

Our room was clean. We liked the little balcony for fresh air and a place for our dog's water bowl. We appreciated the night light in the bathroom that came on. Breakfast and coffee were good.

Cons:

We cannot think of anything.

Both the day and night receptionist at the front desk were super nice and friendly. Extra pillows were provided when we asked right away. The pool and hot tub was nice and clean. They had plenty of towels outside in the pool area as well. I absolutely loved how dog friendly they were. The breakfast was pretty good, a little bit better than the basics. And everything was fully stocked. The room seemed pretty clean and updated. The room was also super fresh when we walked in.

The staff were very friendly, good location, and we enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Counter staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed having the use of a balcony with our room. The hotel's location is nice, having easy access to downtown and the highway.

Cons:

Breakfast room is too small and badly configured to handle busy holiday/weekend morning crowds. On weekdays it's probably fine, but it was very difficult to access and get items on the morning of July 4th (and Sunday, July 5th) due to the amount of people. Consider moving waffle maker to far end of counter, so people standing waiting for their waffles don't block access for people trying to get juice, eggs, sausage, etc.

Excelente!
Pros:

Tanto la habitación como el baño son muy espaciosos, tiene nevera y microondas. El desayuno básico pero suficiente (fruta, gofres, yogures, huevos, salchichas, zumos…). Tiene un pequeño patio con piscina y parking gratuito. Muy recomendado si estás haciendo road trip por Big Sur.
