Price booking ahead of time and nonrefundable was a great value.
Pros:

Location was good. Breakfast was very nice and good coffee. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Room refrigerator did not get very cold and the air conditioning did not kick on at all during the night.

Booked through booking.com. Reservation for one night was $288. Expensive, but it was an event weekend and one of the best rates available so I took it. I agreed to pay on property on my check in date on Saturday. Hampton attempted to take $934 from my account on WEDNESDAY. More than 3x the rate I had booked at and 3 days before my check in date. They were unwilling to accommodate my booking price and were unable to work with booking.com in their attempts to help me.

Great stay for our first time in Ohio
Pros:

We liked the location , the breakfast .... reception staff very friendly. And how nice it smelt when you walked in. The decor was modern and room was nice.

Cons:

Felt watched when getting breakfast. The gentleman standing in the doorway of the kitchen is quite off putting in all honestly. Appreciate it may be trying to be helpful but Felt like I was getting told off and watched incase I did something wrong made the breakfast expreince awkward

Best stay … best staff … best breakfast!
Pros:

Everything about our stay was exceptional … from the warm welcome at check-in to the beautiful room to the incredible breakfast. Truly, the breakfast was better than any hotel breakfast I can recall in recent memory. It was not just the variety and quality of the food (crispy bacon, eggs, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal and more). It was the hospitality! The gentleman overseeing the dining room greeted every guest personally and then checked to ensure that they had everything they needed. On my return trip to the buffet I thanked him and complimented him and his staff for the amazing breakfast and their warm welcome. Another guest overheard and jumped right in to say she agreed wholeheartedly — that this was the best hotel breakfast she could remember! Five stars!
