Clean, great gym. Great breakfast. Nice staff
The location is very nice, Hyatt provides an Airport shuttle. The view over the harbor was very nice.
Hyatt advertises a daily $10 discount for the restaurant. However, the restaurant told us the hotel will provide the credit, but when it was time to check out, the hotel staff said that the restaurant must do that. So we ended up without the advertised credit for two days, which is another $20 added cost.
The wait times in the restaurant are very long.
Booking directly at the hotel is a big mistake. There is basically no pricing transparency and a lot more surcharges that through a booking platform.
The first night, we paid $350, including all fees. The price was visible upfront.
The second night we booked an extension directly at the reception for another $350, but the hotel added ~$100 in fees and taxes.
The sheets and blankets on the beds are comparable to a 2-star hotel, very loose and improvised. One mattress had a cover, the other did not, and the mattress showed signs of use, such as spots.
Location. Close to airport with free shuttle service
The AC not working; stayed at 73-74 degrees. Would not cool to 68 degrees. Maintenance could not fix during our stay. The keurig coffee machine didn’t work.
There was a mix up in order during our dinner; another patron realized he had eaten from it, told staff which then delivered to our table. The patron immediately told us he had eaten some of it. We had to insist a new meal be prepared.
We were never provided purple coins at check in for a complimentary cup of clam chowder. They missed 2 orders for our lunch. It really seemed like a disconnect in communications between restaurant staff. Lastly, wondering why we couldn’t order coffee for our lunch, just specialty coffee drinks.
The location was good and the room was clean. The view of Boston was great
The only thing I didn’t like was the tv was broke
Convenient and very comfortable room, readily available for early check in after our early morning flight was unexpectedly cancelled. Show-stopping views! Lovely walking path right outside. We had breakfast in the dining room while the room was being cleaned, the wait staff (notably Elizabeth) were cordial, attentive & lovely. Desk staff welcoming and helpful. The shuttle bus was sent to our Terminal to pick us up and the driver was more than helpful with our luggage (thank you!).
Airport shuttle for early morning flight was too small for the number of passengers + luggage who needed it in a timely manner. They either need a bigger bus, or another shuttle and driver for peak times! Added a bit of stress. This property is beautifully located, however unlike an alternative airport hotel, you cannot walk to your terminal if there’s a bus delay.
Had to stay for after so many flight delays, just in room for about 4 hours, so not a regular stay
Not sure
View from the room was nice.
Fitness center was not properly air conditioned, and the equipment needs updating. Bar was not up to standards, too small, no atmosphere.
Great location.
Everything was great.
beautiful sunset
Close to airport. Nice hotel.leave. Shuttle to airport timely. Staff nice.
Room smelled of smoke. Should have changed but it took awhile for the rooms to get ready. Breakfast said it started at 5 but by 5:20 it had not and we had to keave.
We only stayed here after flying in from Zurich. We needed a place to stay for the night before flying home. The hotel is about due for a refresh, but it was fine for us to stay the night.
Amazing views, great breakfast, perfect location. We stayed here one night because our flight arrived around midnight. We would gladly stay longer next time. The views from the hotel are beautiful. the room was comfortable and breakfast was great.
This is a great hotel in a great location next to the airport. The food at the restaurant was delicious and staff were very friendly. Ferry and water taxi pickup/drop off area steps away from the hotel. Highly recommend this Hyatt!
The Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor is set comfortably away from downtown. Despite the distance, getting into the city is easy, and the best way is by ferry to Long Wharf. The ferry station couldn't be any closer to the hotel. The location of the Hyatt offers beautiful sunset views of Boston Harbor, and, having just lived in downtown NYC for a couple of nights, this was the kind of nature reset we needed. Our kids (8, 5) loved walking down along the path next to the harbor, and I enjoyed running on it in the morning. We booked the suite, and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the unit was (we got two connected rooms with one being a dedicated living room and the other a traditional King bedroom). Besides forgetting my gymwear in the closet (hopefully this review warrants Hyatt contacting me about returning those items... but inaction will not sour my opinion of the property!), this couldn't have been a better stay.
Fabulous staff, wonderful views of the harbor, convenience of getting around, and overall cleanliness were the highlights of our stay here. Can't beat the harbor views outside.
This is a hotel in the middle of a transportation hub. Fly in, walk to the hotel or ride the shuttle or airport bus. See Boston via ferry, uber, or water taxi. Drive by car and leave it in parking lot or take back to rental company. Great views eating outside or inside. Staff is great.
