Pros:

Hello" I'm Detail cleaner who works for Ridges Motel at Rotorua. The room was clean . Your service was excellent.

Cons:

Well I had shower. There was musky in there. But door open it was okay.

Pros:

Staff were pleasant and friendly and helpful when needed.. Location was very good, close to the Harbour, ferry terminal and restaurants, cafes.

Pros:

Perfect central location as we were going to a concert which was 5 mins walk away.
We got onsite car parking for a reasonable fee and direct lift access to the hotel.
We were upgraded to a small suite which was very roomy and had everything we needed. Bed was really comfy
We had breakfast which was great as we didn't have to go looking before our departure.

Cons:

Minor criticism would be the room ( living area) was very bare. I would have some art on the walls, it was a bit monochrome.

Pleasant stay for the location.
Pros:

Location was fantastic, room was clean, warm, and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Good for 1 or 2 nights. Great view of the sky tower. Did I mention location? Bed was very large, nice bedding. Mattress a bit hard but, preferences. Overall, a pleasant stay and would stay again. A little expensive for what is offered but better than some I have stayed at.

Cons:

Parking garage was a little scary. Fluorescent lights flashing and very tight spaces, for the price of parking for 1 night there are more accessible options. I did; however, nearly get free parking if I hadn't reminded the staff we had parked. The establishment itself could do with some sprucing up, first impression of the parking garage, elevators and lobby were not so good. Musty and dark and didnt smell very nice. Wasn't there long enough for a shower but that looked mediocre.

Disappointing
Pros:

Location was awesome!!! 1 minute walk to Sky City. Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

The bathroom had a terrible smell from the drain, and bathroom not clean. When couch was moved, rubbish was found from previous guests. Very noisey! We were in 11th floor and no double glazing - Def needed ear plugs with city centre noise. Air Con noisey and ineffective and leak from sprinkler. Advised hotel after first night - very receptive to feedback however no remediation done during 2 night stay. Although great location would not stay again. Parking extremely tight and for $35 per day recommend the Wilson's instead.

Lovely hotel, even though a little run down
Pros:

The hotel was tidy, but a bit ran down. The staff was very lovely and handled everything quickly.

Cons:

The room was quite hot even with the ac, one of the windows didn't close properly, bit noisy and the shower was outdated, but overall pretty alright for the price.

Central location worked well for me. Great value for money and friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to eat. Nothing was a problem. Good value and a perfect location for what I needed for my short two-night stay.

Cons:

For me, two tea bags for a two night stay was a little under cooked but it's a small thing.

Pros:

Great central location - pretty much walking distance to most things in the city - marina etc. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

Pros:

We like the location is near to every shops. Walking distance from queen street where the mall is. Restaurant is walking distance.

Cons:

Our room doea not connect to wi fi where it states wifi connected. The pressure of shower is not strong enough

Pros:

The location was excellent, and I really liked that the room had a sink and kitchenware, which was very convenient.

Cons:

1. The internet was not working at all, which was very frustrating. Initially, the issue was not taken seriously, and when staff finally came my room to check, they suggested that I go downstairs to use the internet instead. I had important work planned, and this completely disrupted my schedule. No one followed up on the issue afterwards.
2. Additionally, the phone in the room was not working, so we had to keep going down seven floors to communicate with reception, which was very inconvenient.
3. Another issue was that basic amenities were lacking. I have been traveling for around 20 years and always bring my own toothbrush, but this time I expected the hotel to provide one. Surprisingly, it was not available, and when I asked, I was told I should have brought my own.
4. They also charged me more than my reservation price under the name of a surcharge, which I really didn’t appreciate.
