Maui Coast Hotel

We stayed in a Hoku King room which is the older building. Our view was of the parking lot, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room anyways so it was fine.

The hotel pool was nice and there was always chairs available when we went. The hotel gym was surprisingly large for a hotel gym. I had no issues working out early in the morning but don’t try around 8:30am as it was completely packed and I had no where to work out. Luckily, the streets are safe so i could go for a run.

The breakfast restaurant was great and we ended up eating there 3 times. Highly recommend!

Excellent second stay at this hotel for part of our babymoon. We stayed in the renovated wing had an ocean review room. The room was very clean as were the pool area grounds. The location is great in Kihei and they have some great restaurants on site for breakfast (Kihei Cafe) or dinner (Miso Phat), with also many other options in the area. Directly across from the beach and also has a great free shuttle service to take you to restaurants/points of interest in the area. Would return.

Friendly helpful reception desk staff, nice touches at the hotel like the wristbands, refillable water bottles, nice pool and jacuzzis and lovely breakfast cafe and beach across the road, shame about the weather while we were there. The room felt a little claustrophobic for us as a family of 4, ground floor room so was a view of car park, and sofa bed which was comfortable enough but I’d choose a bigger room if you are family of 4.

The Maui coast was a fantastic stay. The staff were great, the amenities were great, and everything was clean and new. Great location, too. We can’t wait to come back!

The pool facilities were great, live music in the evenings, close to great restaurants and beaches.

Bel hôtel mais peu de charme (idem pour les chambres). Son emplacement est bien mais si vous avez une voiture, il n’est pas nécessaire d’être si bien placés. Nous avons apprécié le micro-ondes, machine à café/thé et le frigo dans la chambre. Les fleurs à dispo dans le hall :). La piscine ouverte jusque tard (mais les enfants n’ont pas le droit de sauter…).

Hotel was really nice, super clean, and all employees were very welcoming.

What an awesome place to stay! Family of four in one room -spacious with plenty of room! We loved everything about this hotel.

This hotel was extremely mediocre, and the service made it worse. The one time we allowed housekeeping into the room, they threw away my shower cap even though it was clearly hanging up to dry.
When I called to request a replacement, I was told they only had the standard caps provided in the rooms, which are far too small for long hair and completely unusable for me. Because of this, we ended up missing an excursion. It was a frustrating and avoidable situation caused by careless housekeeping and not made any better by the front desk. Absolute trash experience and will not be back

This was our first stay at Maui coast hotel and we will definitely stay again. We stayed in the hoku tower. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. You got some cold lavender infused face towels at check in to refresh with. Our room was clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable.
Having live music at the pool every night was great. There is a washer and dryer for guests to use at no cost, that is a nice amenity. We didn’t get a chance to use the bikes, hopefully next time. The location is great, so many options within walking distance for food, shopping, beaches. They also have Tommy bahama beach chairs and umbrellas to use and offer beach towels. The wristband waterproof room keys made it so easy to keep track of (no digging in my bag to find the room key) .
I feel they offer some great amenities and wonderful customer service.

We Loved this hotel. Clean, updated, two pools three hot tubs. No nickel and diming. Everyone was polite. We went to breakfast-it was delicious. Wish we would have stayed rather than going to Lahaina.
